Comfortable and convenient

Went for a concert at the North Charleston Coliseum. It was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby and the room was comfortable. Looks like they are in the middle of renovating.

This property was conveniently located right off the freeway exit. This made travel easy. There is a variety of restaurants located within a 10 mile radius to choose from. There is also an outlet mall located 5 minutes away for your shopping pleasure. There are 2 gas stations across the street and 1 a block away for fillup and late night snacking needs.

Bad experience

Honestly not the best place to stay as the room was dirty and had bad smoke odor. The staff were very nice though. Charleston seems to run out of hotels fast when tons of events are going on in town so it was the only option for the night.

Nice people, terrible facilities

Employees were very nice & helpful. Room smelled like a mix of cleanimg chemicals & feces. Carpet was filthy. Everything felt damp. Obviously not well constructed & needs updating very badly. Temp control was also essentially non-functional.

Room was terrible, smelling so bad of cigaret and by de door has a blood marks what looks like some homicide happened in there, no kidding, for a $145,00 night it's horrible, but the front desk staff were actually pretty friendly.

I gave it a two star instead of one because staff was nice and helpful. The rooms was dirty and smelled. We had to ask to be moved to another room because it smelled so bad, the second room didn’t smell as bad. However it was dirty. Mold on the tiles in the shower and what looked like blood on the walls in the bathroom. Looks like someone had a Valentine there the night before because there were heart shape decorations on the floor, I’m assuming the carpet was vacuum. But I also understand you get what you pay for.

Room was in decent condition and was updated. Few minor things- did find a live black bug, few random hairs on the bed and small stains on the bedding. Service was excellent. I had a last minute change of plans on when I was arriving and they worked with me and allowed me to change my arrival/check-in date. Property- no complaints. Property was as expected for a lower cost hotel. Property was right by the road. Didn't have any issues.
