Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've prepared well enough. We've put together a list of handy hints that will help get your Ezuz escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, put in your passport, important documents, wallet and medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling book and a tablet filled with your favorite shows are always good options. If you plan to catch forty winks, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some facial wipes to ensure you hop off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of restricted items can differ between air carriers, the general rule to follow is nothing sharp, flammable or explosive. This includes things like screwdrivers, blades, fuel and fireworks. Sporting equipment like ice skates, and items that could injure passengers, such as firearms and swords, can't come on board with you either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose clothing is a sensible option, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-distance flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
