Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Gioi could be as easy as pie or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some tips that will help you start your next great adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be easy if you've got all the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a good book. Secondly, make room in your carry-on bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of prohibited items can differ between airlines, the general rule of thumb is avoid carrying anything flammable, sharp or explosive. This includes screwdrivers, pocket knives, fuel and fireworks. Sports equipment like hockey sticks, and items that could harm other people, such as swords and batons, can't come on board with you either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be the goal when selecting what to wear on board. Consider your choice of footwear with care too, as swollen feet are quite common. Roomy, closed-toed shoes are always a smart option.
- A serious condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to inactivity and poor circulation. Walking up and down the aisle and doing foot and leg exercises in your seat is a great way to prevent this from occurring. Wearing a good-quality pair of compression tights or socks is also a wise idea.
