Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Keffi could be a piece of cake or it could go on forever. We've compiled some handy hints that will help you start your next great adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a pleasure if you carry the right things. First things first, you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a spare change of clothes and a magazine or two. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and poisons, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to feel as comfortable as you can. Opt for flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and don't forget to take a sweater in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- You've probably heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of sitting. To minimize your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression socks or tights and keep your feet and legs moving.
