A long way out of Chennai
Basic but good value. Unfortunately a long way from the centre – 45 mins if the traffic is light but up to 90 mins in heavy traffic, so not ideal for tourism. Also make sure you have address and phone no with you as taxis find it difficult to locate.
One of the assistant managers – Chow – was excellent and improved our stay immensely. He spoke good English, and booked taxis for us with OLA saving us a lot of money. He also came out to the beach with us and took us to a local restaurant in the evening. Full marks to him. We are only sorry that we forgot to leave him a tip.
