Easy and friendly

Nice staff. Clean, cosy, pleasant great value. Efficient. Had everything we needed for a night before the ferry and a chance to explore the town. They minded our luggage, ordered a taxi. No fuss. I'd stay there again.

The hotel was only a couple of minutes walk from the town, restaurants , cafe's, bars and the marina. Very quite and a lovely dog.

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and newly refurbished. Be aware of checkin times and note that in Sundays these change and the hotel isn’t open for check-in during the day.

Can be good for some, but not for us.

The room was spacious but the arrangement was not optimal. There was way too little surface area and all bigger items had to be placed on the floor. The reception is only open specific hours. You can access with a code at the entrance. The location was quite central and calm at the same time. The room/bathroom had no proper ventilation from what we could tell and the smell in the room was not pleasant. The room had very bad wifi signal. It is the worst internet I have had in a hotel in the last 15 years.

Children friendly

I stayed with my 10 year old twin daughters. I didn’t pack coats for them as I assumed they wouldn’t need them. We arrived in late afternoon and it was cold When going out for dinner the receptionist lent the twins 2 children's coats. She also advised us on the best restaurants in Cherbourg. So kind and friendly, and thoughtful. Great hotel !

Nous avions fait une réservation pour 3 nuitées pour visiter Cherbourg et ces environs. Agréable séjour et nous sommes satisfais du choix de l'hôtel. Très bien situé dans le centre de Cherbourg, l'hôtel est agréable, propre et un accueil chaleureux, partagé avec la responsable, notamment au petits déjeuners.
