โA shockingly beautiful renovation of an old office building in downtown Beloit. I had a bright large nicely outfitted corner room which I loved. Whatever D Hendricks politics, she has done an enormous amount to rehabilitate her "home" town. The open shower might be disconcerting to some. I loved it. I hate the cheapness of roku TV when all I want is a local weather forecast.โ
โWe really enjoyed staying at the Ironworks Hotel while in Beloit to drop off our oldest child at college. Great restaurants and downtown shopping within walking distance, and a nice view of the river. The breakfast is limited but the coffee is delicious!โ
โI believe this hotel is new. It was out from town somewhat with a corn field next door on one side. The breakfast was continental. The rooms were spacious and the sink was outside of the bathroom. I like that so i can comb my hair etc while someone else is in the bathroom โ
โWe were camping but the Rockford area was being hit by bad thunderstorms and under a tornado watch so we needed a quick reservation and were fortunate that there was a room available. We were happy with the cleanliness and spaciousness! We didnโt bring any shampoo so we had to make do with the provided bar of soap but, one night only, not a problem.
