Outside was clean however it was clear people stayed extended time here. The carpet was dirty and shower had hair in it. And various spots on wall have different stuff on them. Upon inspection could be food pop candy idk and the mop area smell like mildew... room smelled..but I only needed a nap before another shift at airport

The staff here is awesome! We've stayed several times and they're always courteous, helpful, friendly, and do whatever they can to help. The rooms are clean and they do their best to maintain the property. It's older, so though it may have some quirks because of age, I rate it pretty highly for a budget motel. (And our cats love the rooms!)

I am a regular at this red roof location and I disliked and always have is that the rooms don't seem to be very clean. I'm not sure if it's the decor or the outdated furniture but it needs are revamp. The location is great and the staff is awesome

Needs a lot of cleaning

Cheap, comfy little room. My bathroom, however smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors were also pretty dirty, and I found baby cockroaches, so I’m glad I only just needed to stay the night. A lot of the channels on the TV also didn’t come in.

Better than expected for a budget motel. Mattress had no pad or protector so I was a bit nervous. A couple lightbulbs burnt out, and remote for tv didn’t work even with new batteries. Toilet didn’t have bolts so wobbled. But everything was mostly clean, no smell, and felt safe and well lit outside. Lobby was clean and check in was fast and easy.

We stayed three nights for a sports team travel tournament. The rooms were not cleaned daily, and no towels or toiletries were provided. We requested fresh towels on the last evening of our stay and were told we needed to wait till morning. Trash was left in the stairway corridors. The room's interior was clean. In short, the time spent at the motel was for sleeping. Other hotels nearby appeared cleaner and better maintained from the outside. For our purpose, the price was the reason for choosing Red Roof Inn. There wasn't much interaction with staff at the front desk, which, during the evening hours, was inside a protective plexiglass enclosure. Most things don't bother me, being retired law enforcement; for others, they may consider the parking location unsafe, the exterior dirty, and noisy because of a large carwash. But again, if price is your goal, this is it. It isn't easy to compare this to the area hotels, which are 2-3 times more expensive. We had a good stay in the Chicago area and saved cash, which was spent on other aspects of the trip. Thanks, Red Roof Inn.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room needs a visit from the Illinois Department of Public Health and maybe a building inspection. Stains on the walls, door, ceilings, bathtub, cove heaters and furniture. Ripped up office chair. Terrible patchwork done to ceiling in multiple large spots, most likely from water damage. No cover on the knob that controls the cove heater(exposed metal on electrical control). Multiple holes on the comforter from cigarettes. Food was found on top of the shelf. Bathtub has a large strange spot inside. The showerhead was leaking from the threads and the nozzles were filthy. Towels had hair from previous guests. Toilet seat needs to be changed. The front door jamb was poorly repaired from what looks like a previous attempt to bust open the door. A/C unit just made noise. It did not blow any air whether hot or cold. Mattress springs can be felt very easily through the dirty mattress. The screeching of the mattress springs were so loud that it woke me up several times during the night. The key card needed to be recharged every single night. I would not wish these room conditions on my worst enemy. I have photos evidence of most of these claims.
