This is one of the nicest motels I've stayed in. Incredibly clean, friendly management, felt like home away from home. Car parking spaces are very narrow though and the motel sign is slightly obscured coming from centre city.

We loved our stay at De Lago Apartments. Will the manager was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The room was massive with a Jacuzzi bath and a private balcony although we did pay extra for this and it was well worth the money. It is about 20 mins walk into central Christchurch and all the attractions. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a petrol station and liquor store. The kitchen was perfect and there was nothing that we required in addition to what was provided. Loved it here.

Great place for exploring city and close to airpor

Great stay here. Close to city centre and easy walk to tram line and cathedral etc. Great advice from host on what/where to go. Perfect room for our last trip before leaving NZ. Good size to finish off packing and sorting kit. Close enough to airport for Uber ride on last day. Would recommend.

Quiet & comfortable

Friendly & accommodating. Large studio room with, couch, chair, coffee table, bed, bedside cabinets. table & chairs, and kitchen area. The bathroom has a shower over a big spa bath. I enjoyed a bubble bath each night 😁 Quiet room with so much space. I didn’t need the bag stand as I put all my belongings into the wardrobe & shelving. I would stay here again.

Zip Fun in Christchurch

Staff/Owner was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Walked us to our room and explained everything to us. Beds were comfortable and rooms/bathroom were very clean. Couldn't figure out how to get the washer/dryer to work properly and when the staff couldn't either she took the rest of our dirty clothes and half washed clothes and finished drying/washing them!!! Returned them to our room folded! Very unexpected but extremely Appreciated. WiFi was weak on my laptop, kept turning off but other than that everything else was Wonderful!

Love the Spa bath and bathroom in general, lovely amenities. Nice and modern looking bathroom. The rest of the room/s looked very nice too. Very warm and comfortable to stay in. Nothing bad to say at all and we will be back at some point for sure. Even though the room is near the road we didn't find noise an issue at all. Only tip I would mention is the green/yellow looking covers on the beds are dated, and look a bit old, I would update in my opinion, just an observation.
