Dresser drawer falling open and wouldn't shut, could see previously taped shut - flat screen kept streaking and image breaking up not watchable - bed made metal banging sound (the frame) when you got in and out of it.

After a long day of travel it’s nice to just park in front of your room and go right in. The only problem is other guests or visitors outside who are loud and unaware or indifferent to quiet hours. The hotel did not seem very busy but we were given rooms on the same row as the office. Seemingly on either side of the only other guest and one room was next to what I believe to be a full time resident. The outside noise was just excessive after 11 PM. The carpet was dirty (so dirty that I walked around in the room for 15 minutes before showering and my feet were black with dirt, my traveling companion as well. We were in rooms 103 and 105) and the shower curtain and bath mat were stained. But the coffee was good and the staff was friendly. Sheets were clean. Towels were thicker and nicer than the Red Roof in SC the night before. Room did not smell musty but the overwhelming smell of cleaner was nauseating, especially in the lobby. If we weren’t location and budget had not necessitated our stay we probably would not have chosen this option and likely will not again.

Never ever again !!!
Idk where to start this place . First they shouldn’t be in business having so many rms with bed bugs . The first one I got had so many that I’m still highly suffering from the bites I have all over my body . From the back of my neck to my feet literally . The sad part is that the management/ owner is aware of this issue . What’s even worse had plenty of videos showing a army of bed bugs and still no refund . Have the nerve to offer me a 50 Percent off my next visit . The nerve of this guy . I really wanted to take the law in my own hands at that point . I came to the front desk at 33 am requesting another rm . The nice lady gave me another one . That one also had bed bugs . The third one I got was okay . I honestly the worse experience u can have ever is gettin bit by those bugs . I can deal with roaches . Bad smelling rm . But no way bugs attacking me while I’m sleep . Makes u sick days later and can’t stop itching . There should be a lawsuit against this place Z the city should shut them down . Thing is when u get into your rm and turn the lights on and check the bed u might not see any . They come out when it’s dark and they smell flesh .

Overpriced!
Area was sketchy. Park at door. Neighbr had pile dirty linens outside a mexican flags on window sill-must lived there. Red sticky stuff on counter, not enough towels for 4, no tissues, walked to office for breakfast and no coffee or food. Lumpy skimpy dingy pillows and room reeked cig smoke—couldnt sleep, couldnt wait to leave. Only impressed there were no bugs or car break ins.

There were bloody looking stains on wall and shower curtain... we got eaten up with bedbug bites that later required an urgent care visit on our vacation, and there was a cigarette burn hole I found in the morning that matched up exactly with the one in the mattress top, suggesting that the sheet hadn't been laundered/changed. Nastiest stay ever.

The negative reviews are not true. The owner was very friendly and overly concerned about accommodating his guest. Traveled with a football team had 10 plus rooms at rodeway it was a great stay. The complaints are probably from those trying to live there an not pay!

Decent clean room. Very nice and accommodating staff. I could park directly in front of my room. Actually stayed longer since we were comfortable. Having such a low rate made it an easy decision to stay. The staff improved in friendliness by the time I checked out.

Surprised for the price
The man that checked me in was very nice and accommodating but I have not seen him since. The other man that has been here since is not as friendly. This hotel is surprisingly clean and quiet compared to others similar to this in type and price. We were surprised the pool was open and operating! Extended our stay since we were comfortable. House keeper was also very friendly and accommodating! Although the lighting gives a safe feeling it's much to bright!

The place is great. It’s clean staff is amazing so is the owner. I have stayed here several times and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good deal and a real clean and accommodating place. Everything is on one level that’s one of the great things and one of the only hotels for a good deal that has the pool open.

A large bug on the window, cigarette burns on tube, and rickety room chairs. The rooms are in serious need of minor repairs. However, the owner is friendly and honest about everything and works hard to please guests. Guests in other rooms were noisy and could be heard through the walls. You get what you pay for. Overall, about 2.5/5 stars.
