Endeavor Inn & Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
4/10 Poor
"This hotel is very run down and dirty. It smells so damp and musty and the tub had an unidentified yellow stain. The only plus was that the guy working the front desk was extremely kind and accommodating. Aside from that wouldn’t stay again."
"Motel was dated but maintained pretty good. Water pressure was great seems this is an issue at motels and hotels. Breakfast was lacking but at the rate what more can one expect. Bed was good."
"Great staff! They helped me check-in early. Seemed like there was some kind of renovation and construction on the first floor. The smell was less than desirable in that area. The rest of the hotel was fine. Room was great. Bathroom had loose faucets and leaky drain. Outdoor pool was great on a hot day. Gate was broken. Didn't seem to be up kept too well. Breakfast was good."
"I was very late arriving and felt horrible about waking up the nice lady. She was very accommodating and got me checked in quickly. Thanks for a pleasant stay and accomodating me!"
"We arrived at the hotel and we were told we did not have a reservation after driving 12 to 13 hrs. to get there! They said they would be happy to book a room but it would cost more."
Ramada Hotel & Convention Center by Wyndham Topeka Downtown
6/10 Okay
"You can tell that this hotel was probably amazing back in the day! But as for today, the hotel is dated. The main area really is neat, but immediately shows it's age when you realize how much of it is no longer used or maintained (restaurants, ballrooms, elevators, etc). You have to walk past the main atrium area to walk down two long hallways passing elevators that do not work and closed off ballroom/convention areas to get to the one singular elevator that does work but it is small and is the only one in use. It felt like being in the backrooms. This did not seem like a one time issue. They had sturdy signs showcasing the route to the small elevator acting like this is a long term or permanent issue. Once on our floor (seventh), the hallway to our room was hot and our room had trouble cooling during our stay. The room was nothing crazy to talk about. The bed was not super comfy - lumpy. Breakfast was in the main atrium area - hot and cold food was offered. It was just fine. The staff was kind and helpful. It would be super cool to see this place get a nice renovation or face lift! The bones are great, it just needs a lot of love. At the moment, it is okay for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer than that in its current state."
