Our room was spectacularly clean and very well appointed. After 8pm a code is required to enter the building and a code is required to enter the hotel area. It was very secure. “I am not sure how that place got so many good reviews. First of all it’s not a hotel it’s a guest house with only 7 rooms. There is not much in the room itself, no kettle or coffeemaker, no safe in the room. Rooms are on the second floor of the building and there is no indication of where the place is located. We had to ask locals for directions. Elevator fits only one person with two suitcases. Soundproofing through the entry door is horrible, you can hear everything what’s happening in the...

“Our stay at il Giardinetto was on a Saturday for a cruise that left the next day. It was very conveniently located near many restaurants and a 15 min walk to the port entrance. Lorenzo was a fabulous host. Luckily he caught a discrepancy in Google maps that would have led us into a restricted area of the port. Super safe and bustling area.”
