Nice motel in North GA mountains
It was pouring rain on friday night when we arrived for a family wedding the next day. The first thing we discovered was that the toilet didn't flush properly. We called the front office and someone was there within 5 minutes to fix it. This is an older motel, but the maintenance man (owner?) told us it would be completely remodeled by next year. Even though the bathroom needed updating, it was spotlessly clean. The bed was too firm for us and we didn't sleep that well, but hopefully the bed will be updated by next year too. I'm assuming the rates were higher than normal because it was October in the north GA mountains and demand is high.

The breakfast is good, the staff is very friendly, and the rooms are clean and quiet. Very nice for a quick get away in this small town.

Great location and friendly staff
The room was clean, large, includes a couch, refrigerator, and microwave. The king size bed had a good mattress but the wood furniture needs updating. The TV was an older analog version but they offer good cable choices and also free WiFi. A full breakfast was included with the room which made the stay a great value.

Comfortable stay
We stayed in this Comfort Inn and Suites for one night with our daughter and her friend. It is very conveniently located, there are numerous restaurants, grocery stores and discount stores nearby. Our room was clean and smelled just fine. The beds were comfortable, the pool was clean, the breakfast was good and the staff kept it supplied nicely. I really have no complaints. The price was also good

Bugs
This hotel room was not overly cleanly. There was rust on all of the bathroom "stainless steel", tiles were missing from the wall, the upholstery on the desk chairs was heavily stained and I had 2 bugs in my room.

Staff was very nice. Clean room and a decent breakfast. I would stay again. I don't like drive up hotels but this seemed very safe and secure.

There was a bug smashed against the inside of the front door. The small refrigerator in the room made all sorts of noise, so I unplugged it. There was a coffee maker, but no pot. I won't go there again.

The room was adequate , shower was hot , but the carpets are very dingy and dirty looking however it did not in fairness smell dirty. There were cobwebs on the door , I was there for an event in the area and wasn't staying but one night if this had been an extended stay , I would have moved to another location .

It was an average room, without anything extra special. The hot water was VERY, VERY slow and at night it was not hot enough. The breakfast was good.

Close to Gorge
Front desk staff were extremely polite, cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was well prepared and very nice selection. Room was clean overall however carpets in the 2 rooms we had were terribly stained and in desparately need of replacement. Price seemed a bit on the high side but probably in line with other hotels in the area so no major issues there. Except for the carpets, I would recommend this hotel to others and stay there again myself.

Older hotel, could be nice.
Found a big wad of hair(20 or so) on the shower wall. Made me think what else they would have missed if they missed something that obvious. Never felt quite comfortable with the cleanliness after that.

Not so clean
Older hotel but could be nice. Not terrible but would not stay there again. We instantly saw a huge glob of 20 long hairs on the wall of the shower and some strays in the tub. If they didn't clean the obvious imagine what else they slacked off on. Never felt comfortable after that. Luckily it was a one night pass through.

Great hotel, friendly staff.
It's an older hotel, but the rooms and bathrooms (3) were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again and will definitely recommend to friends!

We stayed in this hotel three years ago... it has updated its features and hospitality. If I am in the area again, I would definitely stay at this same hotel.

Perfect for the quick weekend get-away
We mostly just needed a place to hang our hats for the night as we were touring the North Georgia mountains. This place fit the bill perfectly. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was a definite plus! There were plenty of options available, so that all three of us were well satisfied.

Everything was fine - nothing super fancy but good service, great location, property in good repair and room was clean. Breakfast was typical of 2-star hotel. Very satisfied.

Enjoyable
We used this hotel as home base for seeing the extraordinary sights in the area... everything from white water rafting (or kayaking in our case) to mountain overlooks, all within easy driving distance. This hotel was very comfortable, had nice clean bathrooms, great bedding and pillows, flat screen tv, complete breakfast included... was in a safe, small town feel type area, and seemed like (at least while we were there) a quiet, nice, entirely family appropriate lodging. We would recommend it.

Needs new Televisions
Really hard to watch digital cable or satellite or whatever it was on a old television that cut off parts of the picture. Good selection of channels including the golf channel which was nice. Mattress was too soft and seemed cheap. But everything worked and the room was clean, and the hot breakfast in the morning was good. Overall, a good experience that I would recommend to others. But I wouldn't give it more than 3.5 stars.

Great location in North GA mountains. Convenient to Tallulah Falls State park. Very convenient to numerous family restaurants.

The seemd to have just been remodeld, but the room we were in seemed to have seen some water damage. The floors were wet, base boards were separated from the walls and the room was very humid even with the A/C. However, it was a very convienent distance from Chattooga River rafting.

I'd go back
The only complaint would be the pillows for they were thin and bunched up in the pillowcase. Our TV didn't work but when the person at the front desk came by , he saw that the TV was unpluged. The front desk clerk was really exceptional.

The most negative aspects of this hotel was the exterior building. There was missing paint on the doors, scratches, etc. I had to ask for a clean shower curtain. The bed skirt had something spilled on the bottom. the staff were very nice and helpful.

Quality Inn - Clayton, GA
Smooth and efficient check-in. Room was more than adequate to accommodate 4 travelers. Staff was helpful with local directions for dining and entertainment. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was way beyond our expectations. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal and more. We would stay here again.

an older hotel which is dated
the hotel is dated with the non-smoking rooms smelling of stale smoke. The bathrooms are small and the carpeting was dirty. The hotel charges an extra $20.00 per person over 2 people per room even though there were 2 beds which could sleep 4. Though the front desk attempted to accomodate myself, by changing rooms due to the fact I have asthma and the smell of smoke in the non-smoking room had aggrevated an attack, the second room still smelled of smoke. Overall, I will probably not stay at the hotel again.
