"The property was nice and clean. The tasimo was a nice touch. The shower was broken but fixed the day after reporting. Not the property’s fault, but regardless of what the platform says, the old Mill does not offer a breakfast facility."

"Overall the room was clean however there was a hair on the pillow? The rest of the room and bathroom seemed to be clean. The usual frustration of completing pre check in online information before you arrive, but when you check in you are asked to provide your check out date before a key card is issued. Why!"
Classic Lodges Grinkle Park Easington

"We booked for one night at Grinkel park and really enjoyed our stay. The building is set in lovely grounds that are well maintained. The interior of the hotel has an old fashioned but charming vibe. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and lots of places to sit in comfy chairs if you just want to relax with a drink or a coffee. The room was basic but clean- the tv very small!! and the bed very soft. We had some bar food which was good and reasonably priced. There were quite a few guests staying who were in repeat visits and I understand why. The staff are all super friendly and take time to talk to people and help. I would definitely recommend for value."
OYO Yarm Cottages

"From start to finish I had a great stay. I was able to park directly outside where I was staying, which was good and handy. I was greeted by Angie at reception when I checked in who was friendly and helpful. She showed me around the room which was cosy and very clean. It had a fridge as well as microwave and kettle. A good shower and clean bathroom as well. The accommodation is conveniently located next door to a great pub 'Fox Covert' which is an excellent pub and restaurant. I got a good night's sleep on the comfortable bed and I was able to check out easily in the morning. I'll definitely be booking to stay again soon 😀"

"Excellent location on seafront. Free parking. Lovely staff. Nice bar and food available. Stayed here many times - usually excellent but disappointed with room this time. Adequate but basic looked out onto wall opposite, very dark Unfortunately next to noisy kitchen ventilation fan which was on most of time but turned off late evening. Would definitely recommend but avoid room 8"

"If you are a party of walkers that want a nice clean room, a hearty evening meal , with a couple of drinks, and a good extensive breakfast the KHI is for you. If you want an atmospheric pub, I would suggest you consider somewhere else. The room and bathroom were clean with all the facilities you could reasonably expect for the money."

"We received a friendly welcome at the hotel and had the keys, layout and rules explained. Room was airy and a good size. Bed was comfy. As room was on road was a bit noisy with windows open. Very pleased and will recommend and use again in the future."
