"Lovely hotel though a bit like a rabbit warren inside but a great mix of old and new. The best part is the staff - they are just SO friendly, helpful but very professional. On our first evening, as we sat in the lounge, we were approached by an elderly gentleman who enquired how long we were staying and where we had come from etc. We asked him how long had he been staying there and as he walked off he replied "98 years". It turned out he was 98 year old Lord Gisborough! The hotel is owned by Lord Gisborough and his family. The food was excellently prepared and everywhere was very clean."

"Had a brief overnight stay for an orienteering event and staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and I enjoyed the breakfast. A nice relaxing atmosphere."

"The Beachside is an excellent choice for anyone going to Redcar. It’s exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I’m booked again for Blam Blam next year it’s such a great place to stay A+++++"

"It's right bang in the centre of the party . Surprisingly quiet in the room . Everything works fine . You can arrange to book in late . Just ring in advance. I would stay here again the next time I'm travelling in the area . "

"We had a lovely stay, our family room was a little less fancy than the rwat of the hotel but thats fine, the food was lovely and so were the staff. The pool was nice, the area needs a little bit of a refresh and the spa was out of order but overall we had a loveky stay and will be back. "
