“The staff were amazing. The room was spotless, comfortable and had lots of lovely extras like bottled water, a selection of beverages, and there was even a little radio playing jazz music when we arrived in the room! It was lovely. The breakfast was great and the position of the hotel is brilliant for access to the castle and the town itself. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again.”

“Lovely building , Lovely staff, just missing a restaurant at the moment , and gardens could do with more landscaping, although they are neat and tidy. Really lovely stay ”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

“Beautiful listed house, full of character, amazing stay from start to end, the owners couldn't do enough for you, and food was excellent, and I have to add never had such a warm comfortable bed ever, will definitely be going back, cannot praise it enough ”
