"Auberge de Sedona is located on a hillside facing the grandeur of Sedona’s hills. The top part is called the Cliffs. This is where rooms have a view and porches of differing sizes. And from the Cliffs, it’s a one minute walk to many outside restaurants, coffee and shops.
Many of the amenities are partway down the hill or on the bottom, next to the creek. That’s where many cottages are available. Some have views, but most are in the woods. More serene, but no views.
The duck pond pool is midway down the hill from the Cliffs area. Don’t let the name fool you, it’s a mid size pool and hot spa with many chaise lounges, a full bar with food and great service. The pool also has fantastic views where you can be in the water, sip your drink and enjoy the view.
The main hotel area is next to the creek, with a high end restaurant and other amenities like the spa, yoga or meditation sessions, or just parking yourself next to the creek in a comfortable chair. And in the evening there are star gazing events with multiple telescopes!
Note that there are stairs to go from the Cliffs down to the main hotel area. While pleasant, the climb up requires stamina. Or you can have the staff drive you up, which they are always available to do.
If you want to have a relaxing few days with amazing services and quick access to all Sedona offers, this place is hard to beat!"
