Coldwater, Mississippi hotel rooms at the Hilton Hotels

"The hotel is very clean, to say the least. There is a pool, though the amenities could be improved. The beds are comfortable. The restaurant/bar seemed understaffed—one person was bartending, cooking, and even helping at the front desk, which was surprising. There was also a power outage in the area that lasted about 30–45 minutes; it would be beneficial for a hotel to have a backup generator in situations like that. No breakfast was advertised, whether complimentary or paid. Additionally, noise control could be better, as it was quite loud at night with kids running around and shouting. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and easy access right off the interstate."

"Nice, clean hotel. However, the room I booked and paid for was filled prior to my arrival. My family of 4 was given a room with 1 king bed and a sofa instead. When I asked for sheets, blanket and pillow for the sofa, was told the linen closet was locked. 2 adults, 1 teenage girl, and 1 young boy all in a king bed for the night was a very uncomfortable stay! "

"Very disappointing experience. I checked in on March 24, 2026, and found the carpet soaking wet with a strong detergent smell throughout the room. I reported it to the front desk, but they said they didn’t know what to do. The hotel was fully booked, and no alternative room was offered. No one was sent to dry the carpet, and I had to request towels myself. It was very late, and leaving would have meant losing money. I was also traveling with young children, which made the wet carpet and chemical smell even more concerning. After Expedia contacted the hotel on my behalf, the hotel refused refund and refused any compensation, and reacted as if there was nothing wrong from their side. Very disappointed with the room condition and the lack of responsibility and customer care. This experience was far below expected hotel standards."

"The national guard stationed outside of the hotel all day and night made me feel very uncomfortable "

"The staff in the breakfast area were absolutely incredible- so welcoming and friendly. The customer service was over the top from them. Room was clean and comfortable. The parking lot and area seemed very safe. The only opportunity for improvement is the fitness center. It is small - at least they did have free weights, but could use an update. "

"Arrived 10 minutes prior to check in time and front desk personnel on duty very rudely informed me for an extra fifty dollars I could check in early. She then proceeded with attitude when I said I would just wait the ten minutes. Breakfast was poor at best. Rest of hotel personnel were very friendly and hospitable. "

"Simple, no frills bed and shower. Bed is decent, towels are clean. Breakfast was probably the same quality as a local gas station, but without the extra stop. Was good enough for me to stay both ways while traveling through the area to a meeting states away."
