"The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not. After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about. "Second time I've used this property and its good, lovely location and view all around. Due to its rural location theres nobody bothering you and thats nice when youve organised a party with ten men and three women having an adult fest. You can make as much mess to the bedding and in the bathroom and the hosts clean it up. Parking is easy next door in the empty restaurant. Hosts were helpful and communicated well. "
