For all the gallery photos and the rates, this property does not provide value for money! The rooms are spacious but the air-conditioning is poor, food is very average.

The room is very noisy from the backside, with loud music being plaid all night long, on Sundays. The blasting music comes from a nearby casino, across the lake, and the thumping music is felt on the walls of the room!

We had a terrible experience. Had to pay twice and they lost our booking. Also tried to charge us for double our stay length. Kept us waiting ages, phone in the room didn't work and the shower fixing was broken. Nice staff but our stay was pretty awful.

It was an excellent location, a nice surprise upgrade on arrival. Friendly and helpful staff. Quite close to a number of attractions in Colombo. Nice restaurants and breakfast. Would stay again if ever in Colombo.

Hotel was lovely and all staff were very accommodating. Location was great as access to downtown / malls was very close. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We are at a special Chinese buffet but would recommend that you skip that as the food was cold.

Its a fantastic hotel and looking forward to stay next time. Service staffs specially staffs at pool bar and security near lobby lift need to be much more friendly and need to talk to guest. I found that hotel staffs only do their duty no one like to talk or smile to a guest , i stayed 4 nights not even one time a breakfast staff ask me if i like tea or coffee so these things they do better, I like mention HK team on 6th floor and gym team they are doing fantastic job , smile and they love ti talk to guest.

We booked into the Executive Floor which gave us access to the Executive Lounge - "The Library" with Bar facilities. The service there is fantastic. I had the opportunity to meet both Bar Managers - Ajit & Azme. I also met the two Bartenders on duty - Tehan & Samitha. their attention to detail is outstanding. All are very capable young men who provided service with a smile. On the night before my departure, I hosted an evening for a few friends at The Library. The service was outstanding, and they also made sure that I received the applicable discount for guests from the executive Floor. Thank you very much for the excellent service and hospitality.

Central Colombo hotel overlooking the lake with a large pool area. The staff are very welcoming and the hotel has a high standard of cleanliness. The breakfast buffet and evening buffet are vast and tasty. There are 2 other restaurants in the hotel which are also pretty good although not as highly rated as restaurants in the other Cinnamon hotels. Gym, Lobby bar and the Library bar all good. There are renovations to one area of the hotel just now but these didn’t cause any problems at all with our stay.

A good one!
My stay is good. I like the place. The room is clean and the food is superb in the Thai Restaurant only disappointing is we need to make reservation in that restaurant and the front desk should inform us upon checking in about those details to avoid disappointment especially to the inhouse guest. Luckily, the man in the restaurant was able to accommodate us. During my stay, I was planning to extend for a night here since I cancel my Movenpick reservation due to the location I was trying to ask for the lesser rate, I was expecting it will be less since it is already a direct booking but what I don't like is the two ladies in the front desk discussing my issue in their local language, which for me is not a good hospitality practice. I told them directly about it and they don't even say anything to me. So I decided not to extend my stay but Over all it is indeed a good one especially the waiter in The Library.
