현지 결혼식이 항상 있어서 예식장에 온기분이 들고 직원들이 불친절하다 특히 제라드라는 친구는 일처리가 엄첨 미숙함.

스리랑카에서 좋은 호텔로 꼽히는터라 모든 시설이나 서비스가 좋았습니다. 그리고 공항 도착하면 킹스버리 카운터가 있어 바로 이동할수가 있어 불편함도 없었고, 호텔 바로 앞이 더치호스피탈지역이라 먹고 쇼핑하기도 좋았습니다.

의심을 하면서 방문했지만....의외로 엄청 괜찮았음
과거 킹스버리 레지던스에서 방 3개짜리를 3명의 다른 고객에게 배분한 정말 말도 안되는 최악의 기억이 있었기때문에...킹스버리 계열은 안가려고 했지만, 킹스버리 호텔은 정말정말 너무 마음에 들었던 호텔이다. 건물 전체가 클래식하고, 객실도 매우 포근한 느낌으로 디자인 되어있다.

Good location, and some improvements
I have stayed at the Kingsbury several times before. Above all, you can't beat the location of this hotel, close to major shops and buildings. There has been some improvements in the fitness center and Spa facility, and a new outdoor Bar. Hope the room gets some updates because it is showing its age.

The hotel first gave a non-cleaned room when check in. Very disturbing experience. Management needs some improvement... Breakfast is decent with large table area. Location is really nice except construction is going on next to it.

멋진조망. 편안하게 넓은 객실!
우리는 grand cinamon에 3박머무르다가 마지막날 킹스버리호텔 스위트룸에서 1박을 하였다. 체크인시 리셉션 직원은 매우 친절하였고,우리가 오후1시쯤 도착했을때는 객실이 미처 준비되지 않아서 마침 예약해둔 근처 레스토랑에서 밥을 먹고와서 객실에 들어갈수있었다. 전체적으로 두 면이 통유리된 벽을 통해 탁 트인 바닷가 전망을 볼 수 있어서 좋았고, 체크인 뒤 몇분 후 서빙된 월컴프루트는 어마어마한 과일바구니여서 우리의 기분을 더욱 흡족하게했다. 화장실도 매우 청결했고, 전체적으로 햇빛이 아주 잘드는 방이였으며, 침대도 진짜 편해서 잠이 매우 잘 왔습니다!또 다시 콜롬보에 간다면 무조건 킹스버리 스위트룸에서 묵을것입니다.

Great location for being in the capital but the rooms were small and the suite was not in a 5 star condition. Views are of rooftops or buildings. Very noisy with music playing till 10.30pm at the honey club. Great selection for breakfast. They didn’t provide hand wash/soap in the room despite asking several times. Basic lack of understanding made it difficult.

Very tired hotel that needs more, better traistaff
The hotel is tired and not well staffed to make it run well The room service food was inedible; not through spice or flavouring but preparation. The staff at the pool were absent. The gym staff were horrendous and I found one drinking wine from a bottle in the cupboard while I was on the treadmill.

I stayed at the Kingsbury for one night and it was a great experience. Check-in was speedy and the staff were informative and kind. My favorite experience was dining in at the Ocean seafood restaurant. The food and cocktails were made with love. Will be back soon

Perfekte Lage. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Zimmer alles was man braucht. Bin nicht Liebhaber von Teppichen in tropischem Gebiet. Freundliches Personal. Wohnte oft hier, als es noch ein Intercontinental Hotel war. Soweit das Positive. Musste beim Check-in über 1,5 Std. warten, da meine frühzeitig gemachte und bezahlte Reservation nicht auffindbar war. Jegliche Konsumationen musste ich sogleich bezahlen. Deshalb Konsumationen nur auswärts. Wohnte Poolseitig. Absolute Katastrophe. Fenster sind nicht schallgedämpft. Bis vor Mitternacht jeden Abend Diskoparty am Pool. Im Zimmer 65 Dezibel gemessen. Lesen, geschweige denn schlafen, vergiss es. Ohne Lärm empfehlenswert. Gibt hervorragende Alternativen in CMB.

Pretentious stuffy hotel with high security
A luxury hotel it may be, but a comfortable and relaxing place to stay it is not. The hotel swarms with over officious staff who follow your every move. We arrived, well dressed with small rucksacks , as our luggage was being forwarded. Check in took 25 minutes as desk staff, answered phone and attended other guests whilst booking us in. We were approached by staff twice on way to our room, enquiring if they could ' help', it felt like they were checking on us! We went to sit by the pool, and were questioned by three different members of staff as to if we were guests, and even returned to check our room number! Security is tight & guests are certainly under observation. Perhaps this is to be expexpected as the hotel appears to accommodate the 'bling and business' class. Definitely not a place to relax in.

Excellent service
I had a wonderful stay in Kingsbury Colombo Hotel. This is a five star property & truly lives upto its name. The rooms are spacious with nice view of the cityscape & the sea. Room service is amazing with really cordial hotel staffs. House keeping did wonderful job. In room dining menu should have bit more variety & check out took longer than expected. Apart from these 2 points rest everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
