Not exactly like home, but it’ll do

I must say, considering the number of turnovers on ownership and management, and the class of the majority of people staying here are amongst the homeless variety, the ladies running it do a great job at keeping things in order and in line, despite the nature of most of the unruly guests. Definitely have seen a few roaches, but nothing extreme.

The staff at the front desk was very helpful and tried to help accommodate our last minute trip. They allowed us to look at the room before completing the booking and thank goodness. There were visible footprints all over the floors in the hallway. The doors and walls had grime & marks everywhere. They mentioned they did not have housekeeping staff at the moment. It was filthy and my standards are not high. We left and got a room at Super 8.

The reviews are true on the cleanliness of this place. Really makes a person question how much cleaning they do. They say they are renovating now and i hope they improve in the future. No live bugs were found during our stay, but one dead cockroach was found. (Not going to upset this hillbilly family much lol. It was dead and only one.) But the cleanliness in general is just poor. Absolutely amazing customer service! The lady who checked us in was an incredibly nice woman! Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality! For being a cheaper place to stay, a person cant complain too much, but i really dont see why they couldnt clean some more. And yes, it smelled some. I will not defend by saying it wasnt that bad, but some reviews are a little harsh and over exaggerated. I dont know, maybe its just because i live in the country where I'm upwind of 3 hogbarns, but it didnt bother me that bad. Plus you are allowed to smoke in this place, so yeah no room for anyone to complain about smoke smells. Was happy i had a place my aunt could smoke inside! Thanks suburban suites for the stay and i wish you luck with your improvements!

Birch Hill Suites Columbia, MO

Great help and friendliness from the front desk staff but the hotel was extremely dirty, smokey, broken fans etc.... The hall way was dirty and smelly. I would not recommend this place to anyone even if it was free. This hotel should be torn down. I don't think you can even remodel this place that's how bad it is...

Photos and actual stay is very different. Area and the people seems sketchy, but we’re actually pretty friendly. Convenient, close to stores and food. First day was a little rough but 2nd day was better.

Worst hotel ever

This was more of a crack house this will be the last time I use you service. Everyone I have booked with you guys it was in a very unsafe environment. I only used you this time because I have credit. I checked in went to the room and there was homeless people walking around the receptionist was not at the desk but had a note to knock on what I can only believe was her appointment

There is no breakfast. The people staying there are questionable. The dumpster is overflowing. The walls are dirty. The ceiling is stained. The refrigerator is beat up.

When we checked in the staff told us we could check out our room before completing check in. As we walked to the room all the floors were dirty and the halls had trashed lined up along the sides against the walls and also in elevators. When we got to the room the floors were dirty like stuff was spilled and never cleaned. There were also cockroaches crawling on the floor. The front desk did work with us and allowed a refund through Expedia so we could stay somewhere else
