An older hotel that could use some TLC, but the staff was nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. We dont need much else.

Not sure how this hotel has 10 stars for reviews online. Mold on the ceiling, tv didn’t work very well, sink counter was cracked. Bed and sheets were clean at least. Other guests were quite.

The staff was fine but the place was overall a bit sketchy for me. Maybe it's common in Columbus (first time in the state), but I've never seen so much signage about "no guns" and "if you live within 3 miles you must show proof of needing emergency [housing]". Non-smoking room was less smokey than the rest of the motel, but generally everything smelled like smoke - the lobby was heavy with it as soon as I walked in. The door of my room had graffiti on the inside of it. The toilet had a couple dead bugs. The beds were clean, I looked thoroughly and no signs of bed bugs so that was good. I did kill another bug in the bathroom (Google image search with the photo I took said baby cockroach, but I can't be certain) before choosing to book another spot for the night.I don't normally write negative reviews and am quite tolerant of lower end motel/hotels but this was the first time I've ever had to abort and find a new place to stay for a night. :/

Front desk guy was very welcoming and made sure I was comfortable. He checked me in early with no issues and showed me to my room. Great service. This is not a luxury hotel but for the price I would definitely stay here.

The person who checked me in at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The property itself is not the cleanest and smells of cigarettes almost everywhere, but I did not expect luxury for the price I paid. The area was fairly quiet.

This is actually two properties. For me it was very convenient. The room, while a bit out of date, was very clean with sufficient towels. I was there to sleep and for that it was great. I would recommend that the owners/managers update a few rooms and call them upgrades or what have you and thake any revenue from them to do a room at a time - paint and other updates.

Wonderful sleep

Based on other reviews, I took a chance. It turned out to be clean, comfy, safe, and I slept wonderfully. That's what mattered. It was not a high-end hotel, nor was I expecting one as I did not reserve one. The only trouble I had was trying to find it. It was in a separate wing of the Grand, which, based on reviews, I did not choose to stay at. All worked out just fine and, should I be in that area again, I would most likely stay there again.

The room was spacious, housekeeping was done everyday. It was quiet enough for a professional and getaway stay. The sink was clogged and before maintenance could address the issue, the front desk offered to relocate me into a more convenient room. Maintenance and management came to make sure that the issue was taken care of. Though the issue was more deeper, both management and the maintenance personnel demonstrated good customer service. I also liked that the wifi works very well. I will recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable place for a stay.

This place was cheap, so my expectations weren't very high. But when I got there, I was sure my vehicle would not make it through the night. I tried my best not to be judgemental, but every part of the property looked seedy. I was sure my vehicle would not make it through the night without being broken into. The person who checked me in was very nice and accommodating, so that was good. Apparently, there are full fledged families living there as regular guests, because I saw no less than 6 unrelated kids playing and running around the halls on my way to my room. The room was decent for what I paid, just a few small things not really worth mentioning. But the big thing worth mentioning was my bathroom had mold on the ceiling. As I was leaving the next day, I saw a roach crawling down the hallway wall and got propositioned by a drug addict, all within 2 minutes of each other. If you just need a place to lay your head for a few hours without spending a lot of money, then this place might be okay for you.

I was sure my vehicle would not make it through the night without being broken into. The person who checked me in was very nice and accommodating, That is about the only truly positive thing I could say about this property. Apparently, there are full fledged families living there as regular guests, because I saw no less than 6 unrelated kids playing and running around the halls on my way to my room. The hallways reeked of bad weed and stale stink. The room was decent for what I paid, just a few small things not really worth mentioning. As I was leaving the next day, I saw a roach crawling down the hallway wall AND got propositioned by a drug addict form a date, all within 2 minutes of each other. If you just need a place to lay your head for a few hours without spending a lot of money, then this place might be okay for you. Otherwise, spend a little extra money for some place better.

No amenities at all, nothing. Hallways smelled of cigarette and Marijuana smoke. There were stains on the towels and roaches in the bathroom. Most of the lights and plugs did not work. But a very comfortable bed.
