โWe had an overnight stay here for a friend's birthday and really enjoyed our stay , It's not the Ritz as some previous reviewers seemed to expect, but it was clean ,the guy on the reception was friendly and helpful and we managed to use the outdoor swimming pool.An ideal location for what we needed ,โ
โAnother great stay in room 1 which has the large free standing bath, king sized bed and superb views of the sea towards the theatre.
Breakfast great.
Highly recommend โ
โNice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didnโt use the facilities but pool looked a decent size.
Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. โ
โThe hotel was well placed for walking into Ilfracombe and the room was comfortable. As it was a large room the bed would be better to have been a king size as opposed to a double. The hotel obviously caters to bus trips and as such the dining was limited to the same, but the food was good and well cooked.โ
โThe booking on hotels.com stated that the property was pet friendly and dogs stay free. When the booking was confirmed, we were told that pets were ยฃ35 per pet and not as advertised. Avoid if you have pets.โ
โThe rooms were clean and well stocked you had everything you needed. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. My dog loved her sausage every morning.โ
