Coney Island, Ireland hotel rooms at the Independent

"Check-in was easy and the young man at the desk (i did not catch his name) was super welcoming and when asked he gave us an excellent recommendation for the following day. Other staff were great at breakfast as well. The room was clean, well stocked with towels. Not a problem for us but the room had no safe which could be an issue for some. My only problem was that there was no air in the room and it was very stuffy. A notice on the desk warned about not opening the windows at night to avoid insects coming it. There was a fan in the closet so I used that so I could sleep."

"Had a wonderful stay here , beautiful surroundings. Was upgraded which is always delightful. Staff were amazing and food delicious. Would loved to have stayed longer . Sligo park has lovely areas to lounge around to relax and unwind."

"This was a gorgeous property with a great view. We were visiting Sligo and found the drive short (20ish min) and convenient. Breakfast was great and our host was wonderful!"

"An hour and a half to drive there, needed to use the toilet when I got there, they were locked. Breakfast time drinking fruit juice and coffee, needed to use the toilet, locked, why?"
