“We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. “Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
