“I would not recommend staying here unless you enjoy being treated like an unwanted house guest. We were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome multiple times by the two owners. Also, the villa was not clean (mould in kitchen draws and on utensils, dead insects on bed frame, dirty floor). To top it off, we were disturbed at 7pm the night before checkout, to be told that we had to pay a cleaning fee.”

“The rooms were clean, and the apartment setup was excellent. The pool was an absolute lifesaver in the Rarotonga heat, and overall, we had a very pleasant stay. We were unaware that air conditioning comes at an additional cost. The owner later informed us that this is stated on the Coral Sands website, but we must have missed it. This was unexpected, as we have not encountered extra charges for air conditioning at any other Pacific island hotel we’ve stayed at. During the trip, I became unwell...

“Great accommodation clean pool.”

“Pleasant rural outlook, away from area of bars and resorts, but a short drive to Muri shops, beach and dining. It is a comfortable apartment. The driveway is a bit rough, and I was glad to have got a taxi there, and hired a car next day, as it would have been hard to find in the dark.”

“We totally enjoyed our stay at the Whitehouse Apartments, due to the fact they were very clean, tidy, easy access to the beach and car hire, and also a great restaurant at the end of the road. Brent and Eve were fantastic hosts and we thank them ever so much for their friendly manner.”

“It would have been great to have had a cold shower outside to rinse yourself off. But a great place to go for walks and close to a shop and car and bike hire.”
