This property was not fancy or plush but everything else made it a very desirable to stay. I felt very safe and clean, provided everything I needed and right across from bus stop. They had a refrigerator, hairdryer, available breakfast and a nice balcony. The owners of the property made this property. They went out of their way to help me when I needed it. They even took me to the airport cause he saw what a hard time I was having with my heavy luggage. Just good people!I felt like they were family.

I arrived very late in the evening but it wasn't a problem at all. The room was quite large and well presented. Breakfast was served on a plate (egg, hot toastie,a traditional Greek pastry, cake, bread with jam and butter, all served with coffee and orange juice), it was just the perfect amount to give me energy for the morning ahead. Both staff (I think they were the owners) were very friendly and helpful. The location was fine, a bus stop was directly outside the hotel, with regular buses to Corfu Town. I walked to and from the airport, which took an hour...not ideal for everyone, but I like walking so it was fine. I particularly like the walk over the food bridge at the end of the airport runway, as you could watch the airplanes flying directly over your head! Corfu was a lovely place, I'd definitely go back.

Area not so good although not many areas in Athens are. No lift and staff begrudgingly offered to help with bag on way up but not during checkout. Shower head is handheld as there is nowhere to hang it making washing hair and washing non General difficult. Very noisy location. Good price and had aircon

Nice people, not far from market but a not much else around. Bus stops right outside hotel which is nice. Towels and sheets not changed despite someone coming in and making bed everyday. Very dark throughout hotel I’d suggest leaving lights on for more comfort. Sadly Corfu has rubbish problem so mountains of rubbish everywhere.

Nice hotel at the opposite site of Pontikonisi.
Pleasant and comfortable at the basics. Bus stop just outside the hotel. No access to beach for swimming. You would need a bus to get there.

The best service
The Argo hotel was fantastic because of the service. I have stayed in hotels all over the world, some of them world famous, but none offered the level of care for my well-being or enjoyment of the area as well as Spiros did. He is a jewel who went above and beyond to be helpful without being intrusive. When he learned we were taking a day trip to Albania he immediately called the tour company to make sure our details were correct, he checked our bus schedules, got my sister gluten free bread, offered good advice/suggestions and did everything possible to help us make the most of our stay in Corfu. He even grows the tasty tomatoes served with the continental breakfast, which at 4 euro seemed like good value for money to us. Honestly, I cant say enough nice things about Spiros. As for the hotel itself, it's a lovely building, probably a large converted home. Our room was very spacious with a lovely balcony to let in the morning breeze. The bathroom is a bit small and basic, but very clean and serviceable. The shower is powerful and the AC works great. There is literally a bus stop at the sidewalk out front. If you dont want the bus Spiros will call you a cab. In all, the Argo is great! I couldn't see anyone not having a wonderful time here.

Parfait !
Séjour parfait, reposant, hôtel familial et très bien situé. Le personnel est adorable et serviable ! Le rapport qualité prix est très intéressant, avec une offre de petit déjeuner complet au besoin. En ce qui concerne les transport sil y a la ligne 6 juste en face qui peu vous amener à 1 km de l'aéroport (vérifier la fréquence). A pied vous pouvez rejoindre la ligne A2 pour aller vers la vieille ville, via le pont. Aux alentours il y a un commerce pour faire des achats, et un très bon restau à 300 mètres pour déguster des fruits de mer frais ! A coté de l'hôtel il y a le Pontikonisi Beach et un pont offrant une vue magnifique sur la plage et la piste d'atterrissage. Merci pour ce séjour apaisant !

Πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και ευγενικοί οι ιδιοκτήτες. Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται κοντά στο πέρασμα για Κανόνι (με τα πόδια), δέκα λεπτά από το κέντρο της Κέρκυρας (με το αυτοκίνητο). Έξω από το κατάλυμα υπάρχει στάση λεωφορείου.

Albergo senza troppe pretese.
Volevamo un alberghetto semplice e' lo abbiamo trovato.! Ma purtroppo per noi che volevamo passare un po' di ore a corfu' la scelta non e' stata felice poiche' l'hotel e' troppo fuori da Corfù... Ed aggiungo che i costi dei taxi dal porto e dall'aereoporto all'hotel sono alti (20....30...euro)

Very nice hotel with execent staff. Really clean and recomendable according to the price. Bus stop is just in front of the hotel and It takes about 20 minutes to Corfu Old Town. Very good connection with city center. The worst point is that the frequency of public buses in Corfu is not to high at the weekend. And taking into account that we got to Corfu on Sunday, we faced a small issue to get to hotel by bus. Corfu Old Town is a great Palace to be visites, and so It is the resto of the Islandia. in conclusión, It is a very reccomendable place, very clean and with lovely staff.

Ottima settimana a Corfù
Abbiamo soggiornato nel Argo Hotel per una settimana a metà luglio. La stanza grande e pulita ogni giorno con a disposizione ascougamani, clima, tv, frigo e terrazza. Buona colazione servita direttamente dal personale sia salata che dolce con a scelta caffe o te. L'hotel ha un parcheggio proprio gratis. Il personale si è dimostrato sempre disponibile sia prima di partire, tramite email per informazioni riguardo a autobus e autonolleggio, sia sul posto. Addirittura il proprietario ci ha accompaganto in aeroporto la mattina presto. Ottima la qualità prezzo. Anche la posizione perfetta al centro tra sud e nord, a 10 minuti di macchina dal centro di Corfù Town. Hotel consigliato a tutti. Un particolare grazie e saluto a Sophia.

Ottimo Hotel a conduzione familiare
Locato in ottima posizione quasi al centro dell' isola e quindi facilita tutti gli spostamenti. Silenzioso nonostante la vicinanza all'aeroporto. Personale gentissimo sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni vostro capriccio, e sempre prodigo di preziosi consigli per i posti da visitare e indicarvi le spiagge più belle. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
