We were first guests in this hotel. The service was really kind and the hotel is great located, next to Canal d'amour.

The beds was extremely hard, but they took care of the problem with a soft topmadras. This is actually unusually for a hotel to offer. The wifi didn’t work the whole week we were there, but the staff, the surroundings and the good food made up for this. Lovely place!

Taxi dropped us 2 miles from hotel. Hotel wanted. $120 euros for car. When we arrived hotel insisted PIN number for credit card. We don’t have PIN numbers for credit cards.

Just returned from a 7 night stay at sungate hotel where we were charged €70 on arrival for the tourist tax. We were aware of the tourist tax but only expected to pay €21 euro as advised by Hotels.com when we made the booked. When we queried the cost with the receptionist the following moring (we arrived very late in the evening and just wanted to get to the room) she stated, in a very quiet patronising voice "we are 4 star hotel and the fee is €10 per night. I showed her a screen shot i had taken regarding corfu tourist tax and she told me that was incorrect and in the same quiet voice told me we are 4 star hotel. We had to accept her word on this as there was no official star rating outside the hotel. This post is more to make people aware of the extra costs when they arrive. This hotel is in no way a 4 star hotel!!!! Yes there were enough beds by the pool and they were comfortable but the tiles around the pool are broken and a danger The bathroom was something else..... I've been to sidari previously so kind of knew what to expect but the shower curtain (which was held up by cable) was 2 inches to short which meant the room was absolutely soaking after every shower, and the smell in there was really bad. Room was cleaned daily but no tea/coffe making facilities which is what you'd expect with their 4 star self given ststus As you can see from the amount of notes in their suggestions box in reception they don't take anyones comments on board

Ottima posizione, purtroppo ci é capitato una camera con un bagno non bellissimo con la doccia senza vetri e tutta all’aperto, inoltre durante il soggiorno si é rotta ma ce l’hanno aggiustata subito. Bel terrazzo Ottima colazione e cena con bevande incluse. Parcheggio interno. Purtroppo non era incluso il cambio biancheria e abbiamo tenuto gli stessi asciugamani per tutto il soggiorno. Personale gentile e disponibile In sostanza consiglio questo Hotel

La habitación dejaba mucho que desear, olía mal, los aparatos eléctricos, tanto el AC como la nevera hacían ruido y no dejaban descansar.. tuvimos q pedir un cambio de habitación a la mañana siguiente, la segunda habitación era una con el baño ya reformado, podríamos decir q era un poco mejor. El tema del todo inluido deja mucho que desear, la comida es exactamente la misma cada día, poca variedad y mal cocinada, y ni tostadora para el pan, que muchas veces estaba duro. Lo único bueno que tiene es el servicio, muchos de los trabajadores han sido agradables.
