"This was a perfect little family friendly site for our family. We stopped as a half way point on our way from NSW to QLD and it had everything we needed. The shops within walking distance, great park facilities and the beach literally on the doorstep. We had an added bonus of a Kangaroo and her joey waiting to say Hello when we arrived. We'd definitely recommend, the only problem was we didn't stay longer."

Apparently the aquarium at the local Marine Research Centre is worth visiting - but it wasn't open during the days we were there (apparently only open most - not all - weekends & some special annual holidays)."
