"Historic art hotel in downdown Portland. Modern upgrades while keeping historic charm. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and their key card cover includes a map with local business discounts. Location was close to great restaurants, businesses and Powell books. Actual kitchen area in rooms, flat screen TV's, solid built hotel so you don't hear the stomping and banging you often hear in newer hotels. Have avoided downtown due to recent turmoil's and this was great. Downtown is back, clean, beautiful, and this hotel is the place to be. Fee for parking but reasonable for downtown. Planning my next visit."

"it would be nice if the option to use the $10 food voucher could be used in the snack area. It was very helpful to have the person standing outside to ask for directions. And all staff was very helpful and nice. We definitely recommend this location."
