“Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! “We stay several times a year when visiting locally to see family. Always a warm welcome by the staff even when arriving late in the evening. The rooms are clean and simple, perfect for a few nights break when we just need to sleep and are out all day. Breakfast is a buffet help your self with a range of cooked food, cereals and pastries and fruit available. Even got porridge! Thanks for another lovely stay. ”

“It is a quaint place if you don’t mind the fact that it is a bit out of the way. It does have metro and bus very close by. Had an incident at the hotel but the staff attended to situation quickly and diligently. The hotel is an older hotel so if you are looking for something upscale you may want to reconsider. ”

However the spa facilities it turned aren't included in the price and are in sessions, £20 for 3 hours, which I guess is quite reasonable, however not if you just wanted to have an hour for a quick relax in the hot tub or a swim before going out to tea etc, which was the reason for my booking this hotel.
