"We had a great experience here. The location was perfect for the many different places we wanted to explore. We had easy hotel pick ups for Uber, Bolt or private tours. Walking to Paceville was easy for dinner choices. The breakfast at the hotel was more than fabulous. Many local foods and lots of choices with great coffee! Staff was always accommodating. We went to the spa hot tub and indoor pool. Room had a beautiful sunrise view. If you had the balcony door open at night you can hear the sounds of Paceville partiers but it wasn't too awful. Would come back here in a heartbeat! "

"Nice hotel centrally located in Silema. Quick walk to the main street but in a quiet area. The gym was across the street, small but functional. There is a much larger gym a 5 minute walk that offers day passes for €10. Breakfast was busy and well appointed, but small. More than a few days and it got a bit "samey". Nice fresh orange juice (a rarity often!)."

"Breakfast was lovely there was a great selection. The room was good and the hotel well located for nearby restaurants and easy public transport to places of interest. It was off season so the outside pools were closed but we visited the nearby beach and able to swim. Staff were very friendly and helped make this a great short break. "

"We found the Excelsior to be ideally located near the entrance to Valletta, with a welcoming and most accommodating staff. From the moment we walked through the front door, we could tell we were going to have a wonderful stay, from the grand stairway, lobby bar, buffet restaurant and dining room, to our room. We arrived early on a flight from Sicily and asked if we could check our bags. Instead, they found a room for us and we were in our room before 10 AM. We need taxi service to various places we wanted to visit on the island and all was taken care of with a request at the conciere desk. We plan to return next year. Malta is wonderful and the Excelsior enhanced our stay appreciably. "

"Great place for every reason. 15 minutes from the airport, scuba diving centre in the basement, nice food, great staff, spacious room and a free drink upon arrival. "

"Fantastic variety for breakfast you won't go hungry, especially the bacon . We travelled with 2 small children and the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and cleaned every day .There sports bar is across the road and has better selection of drinks than the Hotel bar . The indoor pool was great as heated. You need to get blue towels from the spa to use in the pool. Note If you're using the hotel car park, it can only cater for a small car as it's very tight. "
