“Quite the experience when it comes to hotels. Seems stuck in a time warp 20 years ago. Room was clean, bed was OK and the shower was good. Location next to the Lincoln bypass for a quick getaway was probably its most redeeming feature.”

“We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

“The room wasn’t clean, the headboard on the bed was worn and ripped, underneath the bed was filthy and full of hairs, a previous guests glasses were left in the room, a small used soap bar used unhygienic and not enough for 2 guests, other items were also not replenished, despite having a previous stay at this hotel which was good this one did not live up to the previous standard and the member of staff on reception was also quite rude”

“The staff at all levels were helpful & friendly. They resolved my late arrival without an issue & provided an excellent breakfast in the morning. It is a pity that the bar closes at 22:00 but that is my only concern.”

“The Holiday inn, Brayford along the canal, wasn’t far to walk the steep inclement to the cathedral, castle or to little shops. Lincoln is a beautiful place to visit, full of historical and character buildings, mixed with new. The people are very nice and helpful here.”

“What a lovely place. A hidden gem! Such a good location, the staff were really friendly and the room was spacious. There is parking at The Lawns for £10.70 for 24 hours right next door. Very close to the castle, a short walk to the cathedral and lots to do nearby!”
