The harbour at Craster with Dunstanburgh Castle visible in the distance. Craster is a quaint fishing village with a smokehouse at the centre , the smell of the fish being smoked is amazing. The walk along the shore to Dunstanburgh Castle is great too.
Northumberland coastal path defies the elements and its like being transported to the jurassic period. Craggy shorelines unspoilt beaches

For £90 for a family room with breakfast is excellent value. The room was clean and the staff were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was of incredible value. The shower wasn’t working, literally no running water from the shower head. There was a bath but it was tiny and with mucky boys not ideal. ...
