"The hotel is very well situated near all the bars and restaurants and the places of interest to visit in Brighton. However, there is a flight of stairs up to the front entrance and no ramp so we had to drag our cases up and down these stairs, which wasn’t easy as we are 2 ladies in our 70s. We had a car with us which we had to park in a public car park very conveniently placed opposite the hotel, but it was very expensive at £32 for 24 hours. Our room was clean and comfortable and we even had a view of the sea!"

"The hotel was very comfortable, and its location near the city center made it easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 for one reason. Our room was advertised as a nice window room, but the window looked into a dirty structure with barbed wire, inside the building, overlooking the lounge. I kept the curtains closed the whole stay because looking out gave me the major ick. I would suggest covering those windows with an opaque film that still lets light through, so guests don't have to see the garbage right outside."

"All great - and perfect for a one night stay but Car Parking a problem - we arrived late and the car park was full and it was a walk through an industrial estate to park off road somewhere. Not ideal if you were a solo traveller and having to negotiate that area a night. Would put me off booking again which is a shame because the hotel itself and the staff were great"
