a fantastic place to stay, ideally situated on the west highland way. I stayed there as a midway point on a business trip. the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was huge! The owners were very friendly and we had a good chat over breakfast. definately staying again when im on the road Thnaks

We felt very welcome throughout our stay whilst hiking the incredible local mountains, our hosts looked after us brilliantly and had thought of everything. Clean, comfortable rooms throughout

Friendly welcoming hosts, great room with free quality biscuits coffee/tea as well as a small fridge with an assortment of soft drinks. Great breakfast choice tailored to your preference, nothing was too much trouble with a garden full of bird life to keep you company while you eat. This B&B has the WHW running right past the front door and is a credit to the owners.

We stayed here one night while doing West Highland Way. The location was perfect as it was on the way and also very close to restaurants and shops. What made it special was everything was so well organised in the room... Had lovely coffees and teas, and everything seemed very well thought off. The hosts were wonderful and they provided us with everything we needed including a lovely breakfast. If we are this way I would definitely stay at Clifton cottage.

Het is een leuke cottage in een super mooie omgeving. De kamers zien er netjes uit en de eigenaars doen alles voor je om het naar je zin te maken. Er was een uitgebreid ontbijt en de eigenaars zeer vriendelijk. Al met al zeker de moeite waard om terug te komen

Our stay here was wonderful. The owners were very nice and welcoming. On our last day they got up early to make us breakfast and say goodbye. They even offered to make us sandwiches for our trip to London. The house is a really nice cottage with a wonderful winter garden where you can watch all the birds during breakfast.

Clean and comfortable, right on West Highland Way
Our hostess was very welcoming, our room well appointed and clean, with screens on the windows to keep out the swarms of midges (major plus point in this part of the world). Everything worked, plenty of tea, coffee and choc bars in the room, free wifi, TV. Excellent cooked breakfast. Overall really happy.

Wonderful stay on West Highland Way
What a gem. We are doing the West Highland Way. The owner washed and dried our clothes. The room was amazing, spacious and clean. It is directly on the WHW so tbe location was brilliant. Breakfast was cooked to order. Owners are a lovely couple. Highly recommend.

A comfortable place to stay
I stayed at several Guest Houses as I walked the West Highland Way. Not only is Clifton Cottage situated right on the trail, but the moment the hosts learned that I was walking the Way they immediately asked if I needed to do any laundry. That was such a thoughtful, generous response to my experience. I'd highly recommend Clifton Cottage to any traveler.

A very enjoyable stay. The proprietors went out of their way to make us feel welcome. My wife's needs for a gluten free diet were met perfectly.

Cycling trip through Tyndrum
The host was very welcoming and helpful including providing a full cooked breakfast and even doing our laundry! The property is very near to local bars and shops and was a very pleasant experience.

Home from home
Great spot with good Scottish/Italian hospitality. Hosts went out of their way to make us at home and no problem for a 05:30 fully cooked breakfast for an early start. Great value, highly recommended.

good option for West Highland Way backpackers
The place is a GREAT option for West Highland Way backpackers. Located just on the trail in a lovely town, with nearby restaurants and grocery shops. Owners were nice and welcoming.

The owners were very helpful and friendly, however I felt like I was living in someones house, and not a B&B. Breakfast was in their kitchen. The shower would not maintain an even temperature.

Friendly B&B Great Location for Scottish Highlands
The accommodation was first class with hospitable hosts . Centrally located to allow comfortable driving times to Loch Lomond, Fort William ( Ben nevis ) , Oban and lots of great walks in surrounding area . Tam and Carmen the owners of the B&B were knowledgeable and made us feel at home without being intrusive . A really friendly atmosphere that enhanced our holiday to a beautiful part of Scotland . Rooms were well appointed comfortable and clean. Good value with a hearty breakfast to kick off the day. Five stars from me..

Family Flavour
Tam and Carmen were very kind and gracious hosts. After a few wet days on the West highland way Carmen offered to do a bit of catch up laundry for us. Tasty "to order" breakfast with a variety of cereals and beverages. Staying at Clifton Cottage is like visiting family. Highly recommended.

Perfect hosts!!
Unfortunately we only got to stay less than 6 hours but that was because we had broken down and didn't get there until 3am. We called throughout our journey and the hosts were nothing but completely generous, their only concern being that we were safe, assuring us that they would stay up and wait for us. After a 10 hour journey they were so lovely and offered us food, drinks and said that the room wasn't booked until much later the next day and so we were more than welcome to get as much sleep as we needed and check out later. The room was lovely and clean and just what we needed. Breakfast the next morning was also great! We really appreciated their hospitality and everything they did and would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Thanks again. Mel and Gav.

A really very nice bed and breakfast.
We really enjoyed our stay at Clifton Cottage. The owners Carmen and Tom were really welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. They made our stay as comfortable and homely as possible. They were really nice,friendly people and I would recommend there bed and breakfast to any one.
