Nice place

Good place for the money. Great location and friendly staff. Did get very noisy at night with cars running down the street blaring music, but you would get that anywhere in the area.

Bananaquit is in a very convenient location, walking distance from airport, beach, dining, etc. It has a nicely maintained small garden and a safe, almost family-like feel. We greatly appreciated the professional and personable contact with Jade, the location manager. The apartment we stayed at, two floors, was pleasant and spacious for minimum 3 or 4 persons. Bathroom and shower, and bedroom, were very convenient. However overall we found the apartment, especially the kitchen, dated. It was also sparsely stocked, with an electric hob with 2 zones, tiny pots and pans and minimum numbers of plates, cutlery etc. It allowed us to do some basic cooking, not much more. We would wholeheartedly recommend Bananaquit to vacationers seeking a central by quiet location.

The Good: The location of this hotel is excellent. It’s close to transportation, restaurants and a few blocks from the beach. It’s a great value due to the location and also had a cute garden and a quaint outdoor reading nook. The Bad: The facilities need to be refurbished. The room was never cleaned or swept for the ENTIRE four days and three nights we spent there. We would have done it ourselves had they left a broom And a mop handy. We also had to use dishwashing liquid to wash our hands after using the bathroom because inadequate soap was provided and it was never replenished. While the room wasn’t dirty, it wasn’t clean either and had a serious ants infestation. I definitely could live with ants because it’s the tropics, but I’m a stickler for a clean room. All in all, this hotel has great potential but I’m not sure I would stay here again although the location and price were great.

Really need to Quit

Room was filthy, planned to stay for a week and checked out next morning. The owner had a very nasty attitude being that I requested that I’m not paying full charge and checking out. It was so bad I could not of even take a shower in such filth.

Place is quiet. Rooms are basic but clean. Proximity to airport and car rental and store bay beach is excellent! literally it is walking distance to all activities in crown point. You won’t need a car if you are staying there in crown point. Taxis are also easily available I.E. public transportation. Read the hotel policy, stick to it and you will be fine. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful but will not be on site after hours.

hotel manager, Essie was the greatest and we became good fiends. She went out of her way to make our stay a great experience. The appliances need to be updated and the air conditioner should not be right over the bed

Unprofessional liars

They lied about our refund and this hotel is way overpriced. There’s way better options in the area. Don’t waste your time staying somewhere that don’t value your service.

Lovely appartment in the Heart of Crown Point

We had a very Nice stay at the lovely Bananaquit Appartment. The appartments are Located in the Heart of Crown Point. Close to the Beach (5min to store bay Beach and 20 min to pigeon Point By Walking) and lots Restaurants and Bars around. The Garden Offers Perfect chill Outs Watching Birds. The Hotel Managers Rachel and Rahel are super Nice and help out with recommendations and whatever needed. The Place is Safe and we felt very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and looking forward to come back.

Ideal place to be

I was happy with my stay. It was close to everything (the airport, beach, restaurants, mini marts). The room was comfortable and we had no issues with the amenities included (wifi, parking) This was definitely a good choice and it made my stay in Tobago great.

Big 2 level living space. Pleasant courtyard.

The A. C. was a real ally. Sleeping up under the roof means heat. The fan and air both indispensable! A bounty of birds singing outside. I had the good fortune to be 4 feet from a forest green parrot ( I surmise) on the other side of a bamboo blind covering a second floor window. Best part, he never caught on to me.
