Halina Hotel was beautiful, wonderful pool and deck. Kind staff went above and beyond during our stay. Parking was extremely safe and convenient for our bikes. Very walkable area, close to the beach, quick ride to the airport. Highly recommend and I would stay again.

The hotel offers a value for money stay. The surrounding area are filled with restaurants and shops. Just look out for vendors like the fruit stall on the right of the hotel (looking at the hotel) in front of a produce store. She tried selling me a comb of bananas for VND300,000. The area is very Korean with restaurants and supermarkets selling Korean food and goods. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Daisy who works at the restaurant and front lobby is exceptionally helpful so is My who looks after the rooftop bar, pool and gym. We had the pleasure of being served by an Intern called Bubby, a very bright young lady who is very customer oriented, she remembered the coffee and style of the coffee I drank and she remembered it from day one when she served me. She also ensured that I visited the Dragon bridge at the correct time to see the display. When I was staying at the hotel they offer Tea with cakes, really delicious. The down side of the hotel is that you need to walk up steps to the lobby and as most Viet hotels there are no railings for support and there is no lift to get up to the reception from the street level. Like wise you are required to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the rooftop. Watch your steps getting to the top or coming down as the steps are dark in color and can be slippery. Another issue they should rectify is that there is only one tiny lift. You need a little patience sometimes especially when it is check in time. The beds are nice.

Tiny room stinking of cigarettes
The hotel is 5min away from the beach, which is good if that's what you came for. Miles away from city centre(if there even is one in D.),no bus stop nearby so have to take a taxi everywhere,walking takes too long.The room was microscopic,smallest I've ever stayed in but it was nicely furnished and quite new with a big comfortable bed and that was all I needed for a night. There is also a very small but nice rooftop pool.Breakfast was ok.All would have been fine if not for three things: the entire room stank of cigarettes even though it was marked as a non-smoking room. I am 100% sure the room was not aired before we moved in, which then made me think what other things were not done properly...Well, as if to confirm that,when I tried the dressing gown on I nearly vomited because it stank of cigarettes so bad!!I mean the smell went right through them!It suspect they hang there for days, not washed,disgusting.The housekeeping staff are simply not doing their job. Moreover, when I looked closer at the toilet seat,I noticed(what I thought/hoped were)water stains..It only took a gentle swipe with a tissue to remove them, which shows that the toilet seat wasn't cleaned properly either!!The shower has no wall separating it from the rest of the bathroom-while you're washing the water goes absolutely everywhere. Finally when we asked staff to book us a taxi, they just got one of the taxis parked outside hotel-clearly they have a deal;meter was going like crazy,what a scam&hotel knows.

The overall experience was good especially the staff. I had some issues with my air con and they really took effort to fix it and one of the staff is constantly following up. I accidentally left my stuff in my hotel after check out and they sent it to my location when I called them.

Good hotel but need to improve on Details
The Hotel is new and clean but finishing a are not done well as still paint on the windows and pillars of the walls impede the views which is not the case in the photos you see when purchasing. Beach is beautiful just water is very dirty and a lot of plastic and debris from the river close by so not really great to swim. Swimming pool is great and service was good other then that behind the hotel is very dirty with a huge rubbish dump as you walk out on the left side which attracts a lot of rats. Hotel rooms are good and comfortable with amenities and towels which are up to standard. As said before only things is the finishing of the hotel were rushed in construction and some lights, bath fittings and painting was done very fast. Not a deal breaker but looks a bit cheap. Good access to near by restaurant and shopping as well which makes walking in this area very easy and safe.

Can't ask for more with such good price. Staff is extremely helpful, and I'd like to sing praises for Daisy who was so kind throughout. Just 5 mins walking distance to My Khe beach. Love the decor. Breakfast was alright. The swimming pool is quite small though. But still, you won't regret booking this hotel!

Pros: - Hotel close to the beach - Sea view from rooftop swimming pool - Breakfast is good - Staff is friendly (some) Cons: - Both corridor & room have very unpleasant smell - Room and bed are very small - Air conditioning is very weak - Only 2 set of towel & amenities provided for triple room - Only 1 slow elevator serves all 11 floors - Pool, bar, gym & sauna are all within a very small area - Booked 2 sea view rooms but given the rooms at lowest floor with no view at all

Everyone from the hotel is so friendly
i am glad to have chosen this hotel. Comfortable bed, clean room, no insects, nice breakfast, .... and most important friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Daisy, Bich and MyMy in giving us advices where to dine, translating and even helping us to top up our pre-paid phone card. The hotel is also a few minutes walk to the beach, so we can enjoy the ocean under the sun. My little suggestion is that the hotel can borrow towels at the front desk for guests to bring to the beach (though you can buy a poor quality but very expensive one at the beach). For a small hotel like Halina, it is and will continue to be the people that bring returning guests instead of its hardware. The hotel owner should be glad to have a team of excellent staff.

Spent one night there before we headed to Hoi An. The room we booked was clean and cozy - linen is crispy clean and lighting inside room was just right. Next morning the breakfast that came with the room was good. We met the most friendly staff My My at the breakfast restaurant who would give you the most informative tourist information - she recommended a few unique things to do in Da Nang and Hoi An (As simple as taking a grab bike or things to do in Hoi An). Whilst we waited for the car to arrive to pick us up to Hoi An she stayed with us to chat. I guess it is always the Boutique hotels that do better because that is when the human touch counts and makes your experience much different!.

Very friendly hotel with excellent good service
The hotel staff helped me with my luggage immediately when I got off the taxi. They gave me a cup of iced tea to drink while I was waiting for check in. What impressed me most was they proactively showed me a map and gave me an introduction of the place of interests nearby Danang. Since I was alone, they recommended me to join local tours to Ba Na Hill, Marble mountain and Hoi An. I really enjoyed the tours they booked for me. The breakfast in this hotel is also very nice. There were a lot of Vietnamese foods to eat. I also enjoyed the breakfast very much.

Basic hotel with obstructed sea views
Hotel and furnishings may have been nice once upon a time when new but are now dirty, stained and in need of repair and cleaning. Something in our room has bitten us staff could not understand or had nothing for us to spray whatever bugs they were. Staff barely speak English so difficult to communicate anything with. Breakfast was terrible all fried cold Asian food, minimal fruit and only omelettes freshly made which came with an eye roll when asking for a fresh one without ham to be made. Pool is very small with mouldy tiles. Beach is visible from room and roof top pool but through buildings as one block back.Would not recommend staying here.

Good location plenty of restaurants around & walking distance to the beach. Hotel itself ok but old furnitures and this hotel have only one lift so morning period need extra time otherwise stairway pretty good too. Like to mention that Daisy a staff there speaks good English helps us a lot from the start to the end, well done!

First class hospitality service
What stands out in our 5 days stay at Halina is the hospitality service of all their staff right from the bell boy, reception, F&B, housekeeping, etc.... they were all excellent. I would like to specially mention Ms. Daisy and Ms. Mimi who I can say is the best Reception personnel that has ever managed my stay in my so years of staying in hotels and resorts all over the world. They were excellent, always with a smile and always go out of the way to assist all guest, including me. Although, the hotel is not in a great location, it is still easy to get taxi to move to any other tourist sites. Bravo to the hotel and its employees for doing an excellent job in taking good care of your guest. Cheers.

Weird interior design and unpleasant smell
The room was pretty squeezy. Nothing like the picture. Unpleasant smell maybe from the formaldehyde in the furniture and decoration materials. After we complained about the smell, the receptionist said someone would come and check, but then one staff came in with an aroma diffuser as if they had already known the smell was always there. The window to the outside street was quite small no wonder the room could not get rid of the bad smell. There’s also a window in the wall that could be opened which was actually to a shaft of the whole building. Could be a security issue. There’s nothing between shower area and washbasin. So after shower, bathroom got all wet and slippery. The curtain of the bathroom was on the outside of the glass door, quite confusing and inconvenient. The ceiling was low and the decorative wall panel on the side looks superfluous, intensifying the feeling of narrowness. I have no idea of this building’s original function but I guess it was not built to be a hotel. The floor plan was unpractical. The breakfast was not very good in both quality and quantity. However, the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially mymy who was always smiling and ready to help. But there’s not much they could do with the hotel condition. Not expensive price but considering the conditions, not cost efficient as well. A place I would tell my friends not to stay in.

When you walk in, you are greeted with a cold drink. There was front desk staff that was available but she choose to not help me and just look at me occasionally for awhile. Once my husband came in to join me, she immediately asked him if she can help him completely ignoring that I was standing there waiting to get help with checking in. Once we got into the room it was stuffy and smelly. The pictures look better than what the room really looks like.

A hotel with a heart and close to beach
the hotel staff are friendly and provide us sufficient tips and information on the local areas, restaurants and seafood around. It is also easy to get around as there are plenty of Grab / Uber. The room is comfortable but due to the location where the air-cond was installed, the air does not get traversed and makes the bed areas a bit warm. Bathroom can be better if it installed an additional curtain so the wet section and dry section of the bathroom get segregated. The free bicycle provided by the hotel was great and you can bring the bicycle to go around the area.

A new budget hotel near the sea side
The check in process was quick, with a welcome drink. The hotel room is clean and large. However, I think some improvement can be made: 1/ Add a curtain in the shower tray so that water will not spilt out easily, 2/ Add a tower hook in the bathroom, 3/ Add a mirror in a room. The breakfast was nice with a variety of choice. There is a nice rooftop swimming pool but a bit small. However, it was winter time now so I didn't try. It may be crowded in the summer. I would recommend this hotel.

Clean, new hotel with good service and location
I requested for sea view room and request was granted. I was given a sea view room at level 8. Room and bathroom was really clean and new. Just one thing.. the bathroom has glass wall and the curtain is really thin. It may not be good for family with adolescent children. Breakfast spread is good. There are seafood restaurants just across the road. There is a supermarket and a Korean fried chicken and beer restaurant, just opposite the hotel. There's a L shape small infinity pool with seaview, small sauna rooms, rooftop mini bar and 2 gym machines with some weights at level 12(rooftop) which is accessible by going up to level 11 by lift and taking the stairs. My family received a souvenir as a pleasant surprise after 2 nights stay, when checking out.
