Ancient hotel with clean sheets.
"I don't usually feel a need to do this but after seeing my room I checked for bedbugs. Thankfully I didn't find any. Booked a non smoking room but the room given stank of stale smoke and had a clean ashtray in it. Asked to switch rooms but was shown two more rooms with the same status. Pretty sure ..."
