"Beautiful setting near the river. Breakfasts were excellent and abundant, Highly recommended!!"

"The property was very clean but very warm! Aircon would be beneficial especially with not being able to open doors/windows without risking midges joining you for the night!! Bed was very soft and bed sofa not overly comfortable but ideal place to stay for a few nights. Great being so dog friendly,having the restaurant on site (though quite pricey!) and the station being so close giving access to Oban and Stirling. Fabulous views over the loch too!"

"Due to a change in circumstances we had to book a hotel in Oban at short notice. The Scott was one of the few hotels that had a room available for one night. The hotel is located on the main road as you drive into town. The traffic was a little noisy up until 9pm It has parking at the back of the hotel at a cost of £10 for 24 hours. Booking in was easy as the receptionist had all our information at hand and informed us of breakfast availability and location of the room. The room was large,...

"very nicw would stay again"

"It was a spacious room with comfortable beds, nice linens and a clean bathroom. Did not interact with the staff in-person, so can’t comment but the email communication I received was clear. Others have complained about hallway noise, and it is true that everything in the hallways is heard in the rooms but was not an issue during our stay. Fair price."

"Basic but adequate. Stair carpet needs a lot of renewal. Bath chipped and overflow broken. Staff tried to fix but no handyman over weekend"
