Sauber und einfach

Freundliche und zuvorkommende Crew. Gute, ziemlich zentrale Lage. Zimmer eher klein und unspektakulär, jedoch sauber. Bezahlung mittels Kreditkarte kostet 6 Dollar mehr und dauert sehr lange.

A pleasant arrival in Tanzania

We were particularly impressed by the reception staff, who were very helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were woken up by the call to prayer at 5 am, but managed to get back to sleepagain! The restaurant was a little quirky but the food served was OK.

gut aufgehoben

in diesem hotel fühlten wir uns schon bei der abholung am flughafen erstmal sicher- wir blieben 2 nächte bevor wir dann auf safari und nach sansibar sind. der service war gut und freundlich. erstaunlich war auch, dass wir nach 10 tagen dort zurück gingen, weil wir noch 4 std. freilauf bis zjm rückflug hatten, der concierge und sofort wieder mit namen begrüßte und es kein problem war, unser gepäck dort aufzubewahren und nochmal durch die stadt zu bummeln.

Nice place to spend a night or two in Dar

The biggest treat about Peacock hotel is the A/C, since Dar is so humid it's a pleasant treat to get away from it all into the relative coldness of the lobby and your room. One thing I don't know is why they don't have mosquito nets or spray the rooms. The staff are very friendly, the food quite good and very centrally located.
