HORRIFIC. BUYER BEWARE. Where do I start? Expedia or Comfort Inn. Expedia has such inconvenient and practically unavailable customer support that even if you do have an issue, you can’t speak with a customer service rep. And if you do it’s entirely electronic. Their customer service department is unknowledgeable, ineffective and entirely devoid of understanding. Now on to Comfort Inn/Suites. In previous locations we have stayed with Comfort Inn without problem. That couldn’t be further from the truth with Expedia. It was clear from the commication with another guest that they lacked basic knowledge of any 3rd party reservation. Neither Expedia or Comfort Inn/Suites could communicate with one another when our room had been booked, paid for and confirmed weeks prior to our arrival. Instead My Partner and I were continuously told that our room was “pre-authorized” and never paid for, when each document we were provided stated the opposite. My partner has a neurological disorder that was further strenuated by our constant calls between Comfort Inn Support, Expedia Support and our banks. So much so that he had an episode that further complicated our stay and our experience. To top all of this off. When we were finally able to access our PAID room we then immediately had to switch rooms due to the cleanliness and utter disregard for sanitization. After all was said and done and my partner and I were finally able to leave the hotel, and we were met with attitude, disgust. -1000/10.
