  • I was atop Mt. Chopok, in the Low Tatras Mountains. Chopok is at 2,024 m (6,640 ft) and is the 3rd highest peak of the Low Tatra Range. The views were truly breathtaking from there! Including the meteorological observatory tower covered in snow. But, most of my time in Slovakia was in the High Tatras. The mountains there are even bigger and more epic. I was based in the small city of Poprad and took trips every day. I was in Slovakia in September 2015, too. But this was my 1st time in winter! And with a good camera ;). I also had a wonderful time in Budapest, as well! My very 1st time there. But, while I spent most of my time in the High Tatras I loved being in the Low Tatras! The mountains were absolutely magnificent! And I came to Chopok at a perfect time of day :). I took this photo in March 2018.

Grang hotel Jasná byl perfektní po všech stránkách. Skvělý personál, služby, atmosféra. Ve velkém vychází vstříc rodinám s dětmi. My si díky tomuto hotelu, naši dovolenou v Tatrách užili.

Wspaniały pobyt w hotelu przy stoku

Super pobyt w hotelu. Odpoczynek po nartach, w saunach zewnętrznych i jacuzzi z widokiem na gwieździste niebo - bezcenne. Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie. Śniadania i obiadokolacje w formie bufetu, bardzo dobre, powoli bez pospiechu, niczego nie brakuje. Ski room z suszarkami w szafkach ekstra rozwiązany. Polecam, spełniłem swoje marzenia i zapewne tam wrócę.

If you get a standard room, it’s ok for 1 night..

We stayed at the standard room with breakfast + dinner option. The dinner was disappointing. The breakfast was ok but if you get a chance, stay next door, at the hotel Posta. It’s much better. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. We didn’t go to the spa as it seemed very busy and the spa area smelt of chlorine a lot. The hotel was very busy as it was a peak season. Next to the hotel, a huge hotel is being built now so expect some noise from the construction site. The location is great but again, I definitely recommend Hotel Posta which is 2 mins from Grand.

Das Hotel befindet sich landschaftlich sehr schön gelegen. Es werden viele Möglichkeiten zum Relaxen geboten. Im Sommer geht es im Umfeld recht ruhig zu, da die angrenzende Seilbahn ausser Betrieb ist. Das Hotel verfügt über eine hervorragende und qualitativ gute Küche mit besonders freundlichen Personal. Man ist besonders gut auf Familien mit Kindern eingestellt. Das Angebot wird daher auch sehr viel von Familien mit Kindern angenommen. Wir empfanden es dennoch entsprechend ruhig. Dieser Aufenthalt war für uns bereits der zweite und auch diesmal hat es uns auch nach 14 Tagen genauso gut wie am ersten Tag gefallen. Auf Wünsche bei der Buchung betr. der Zimmer wurde eingegangen. Wir waren wieder einmal seht zufrieden.

A szállás elsőosztályú és rendkívül olcsó volt. Annak ellenére, hogy egy prémium síterepen van, a síszezonon kívül is számos programot lehet szervezni és a Tátra nyáron is gyönyörű, ráadásul nincs hőség!

Dobra lokalizacja dla miłośników narciarstwa, pokoje delux niestety bardzo małe , w łazienkach również mało miejsca co powoduje mało przyjemne wrażenia. Posiłki mało wyszukane i niestety wybór znacznie graniczony jak widać nie można mieć wszystkiego. Strefa relaksu OK

The spa facilities are superb and provide a wonderful way to relax after a hard days skiing. The hotel is well thought out, plenty of storage space in the bedrooms, great heated lockers in the boot room, excellent kids entertainment and a fab location with easy ski in/out access. Life outside the hotel is almost non existent so not suitable for people looking for a lively apres scene or night life.

Very good location

The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean. The location was great for ski-in, ski-out. Our room was on floor 4 (there are only 4 floors). There was only 1 elevator that serviced the 4th floor. The other floors had access to 2 elevators. We had to wait quite a long time in the mornings to get the elevator to the ground floor... then take another elevator to the lower level where the ski storage room was located. It appeared that unlike all the other floors, 4th floor had not been renovated. It needs it!! The carpet was obviously quite old and just plain dreary. New, or additional pillows are needed as well... they were extremely flat. The breakfast and dinner were sufficient, but I've definitely had better at other ski hotels. This hotel has the potential be really fantastic. Had it not been for the staff and the cleanliness, we would have been very disappointed.

飯店附近冬季是滑雪勝地，也有很多健行路線，離纜車站很近，住宿品質服務與附近環境都不錯，不過可逛可買的東西很少，餐廳選擇也不多，飯店推出的吃到飽晚餐，非常不推薦，菜色種類很少，口味普通，肉類乾硬，不含飲料，價格也不便宜，供餐人員態度友善是唯一的優點，早餐的品質較為正常，選擇也較多

hory v létě, hory v zimě

Kdo má rád hory, musí přijet. Hotel je po rekonstrukci pokojů. Pokoje jsou vkusně zrekonstruované. Velmi dobře hodnotím hotelové SPA. Venkovní sauny nemají chybu. Okolí je super. WIFI dostupné v celém hotelu. Snídaně velmi dobré a stále doplňované. Možná zbytečně dáván značkový čaj. Vzniká hodně odpadu na jeden udělaný čaj. Hotel má ideální polohu pro nástup do hor a to vletní i zimní sezoně. Kávu v lobby ocení labužníci. Brzo se vrátím.

Príjemné.

Veľmi pekné ubytovanie s vynikajúcimi službami a skvelým jedlom, doplnené výbornými masážami a wellness, hoci celkovo vo vyššej cenovej kategórii. Pri hlučnejších hosťoch môže hluk trochu rušiť, izby nie sú odhlučnené. Za čo hotel nemôže, ale pobyt to ovplyvniť môže, je výstavba v tesnej blízkosti hotela. Stavia sa bohužiaľ v celej doline. Pobyt ale rozhodne odporúčam.

Aj keď väčší, veľmi príjemný hotel s veľmi dobrými službami, slušnými zamestnancami. Napriek tomu, že počas nášho pobytu bolo v hoteli ubytovaných veľmi veľa rodín s maličkými deťmi, nebolo to vôbec rušivé, pretože si každý mohol nájsť svoj priestor. Vyzdvihnem aj reštauráciu, jedlá na jedálnom lístku zaujímavé a veľmi chutné.

Príjemný hotel

Príjemný hotel, v lete plný detí. Chutná strava. Čisto. Za tie peniaze to určite stojí za to. Ochotný personál, len mať príplatok za skorší check in, ak je izba k dispozícii, je také slovenské...Nemal by som určite problém vrátiť sa. Hádam dovtedy dostavajú vedľajší hotel, kde bol počas dňa aj cez víkend čulý pracovný ruch.

Excellent hotel less than 20m from the slopes and gondola. Great staff, full buffet breakfast and variety of spa and sauna, with both indoor and outdoor options for relaxing after the day. Fun resort with good range of terrain.

Hotel zasługuje max na 3 gwiazdki - nadgryziony zębem czasu. - W pokoju słychać było sąsiadów - zerowe wygłuszenie - windy jeździły jak chciały - trzeba bylo czekać czasem 10 min - spa z ograniczeniem czasu - max 3h i jednorazowe wejście - na pietrze były psy które szczękając zakłócały spokój Nieadekwatna cena do jakości !!! Jedyny plus to bliskość do stoku.
