"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mayer & Splendid. The staff was incredibly welcoming and even allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. Throughout our stay, the service was consistently top-notch. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making our visit enjoyable. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great selection and a wonderful start to the day. We were especially grateful for the assistance the team provided with transportation and helping us arrange our trip to the train station. Their local knowledge and willingness to help made our travels much easier and stress-free. What stood out most was how the team made us feel. We felt less like hotel guests and more like family. That level of hospitality is rare and made our time in Desenzano even more memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Garda."

"Room was very clean and spacious but needed updating. Key entry was temperamental. Staff were excellent, Especially at reception. Toilet near reception was filthy. Pool area poorly maintained. Water was dirty. Is supposed to be open in June. Breakfast was good."

"Lovely stay great location for bars restaurants and the ferry terminal. Beautiful view from the balcony. Only complaint about the room was the shelf above the headboard which we did hit our head on a couple of times. Loved the blackout blinds and the room was very quiet with the doors closed. Loved the included breakfast. The staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar was excellent and that staff also made us welcome. The room was clean. The location is overlooking the lake and has easy access to the lakefront promenade. It’s about a five minute walk to the center of the city and the ferry terminals. Regarding ferries we do recommend checking departure times with ticket agents. The schedules don’t always match. This is not related to the hotel. We woukd stay here again."

"Alexia, the concierge, was amazing. She was so helpful, enthusiastic and kind. Gave us great tips on restaurants and ferries. She made the hotel experience in Desanzano perfect. I hope management appreciates what a good representative they have in Alexia."

"Amazing hotel with great facilities. Pool, Sauna, Roof terrace all very good to have. Staff also very helpful and accommodating. Would strongly recommend if travelling to Italy. located a minute in front of Lake Garda. Good options in breakfast buffet."

Hotel Palazzo Del Garda & Spa

"Check-in was simple and straight forward. Thank you Mikki for that after a stressful day of travel from the U.K. All members of staff, including the Receptionists, Breakfast Room and the Bar Staff that we had dealings with were polite and courteous and happy to help. Facilities were excellent, the bedroom was spacious and very clean and tidy. Despite the very high temperatures outside, we took advantage of the Spa and enjoyed the Sauna and Steam Room, both of which were invigorating and the cool relaxation area was a lovely quiet space to relax after being in both of the above The Breakfast room was light and airy and had plenty of varied hot and cold items to choose from including freshly made to order Omelettes, scrambled egg, bacon and hot dog sausages, cold meats and varied cheeses and I observed a seperate section of Glutten Free foods. My only concern was the grass area adjacent to the pool area was poorly maintained and the sun loungers in that area had an array of bird droppings stuck to the material part."

Villa Rosa Hotel

"Loved our junior suite balcony with lake view. All the staff were exceptionally helpful & pleasant which made for a relaxing holiday. On the edge of town but directly opposite the beach so the location was perfect for us. Nice leisurely 10 minute stroll into town."
