“This 15 room motel was simple, quiet, and a great space for my husband and I to get away for a couple of days for our anniversary. We got a King bed lake view room (def. worth the extra $) because you can sit on the deck and watch the sun rise/set. There were a variety of people staying--families, singles, couples, and everyone we met was nice! Things to be aware of-- the lake or something around our hotel had a bad smell at times--the first night I noticed it the most, but night two it had...

“The hotel was very clean. The bed was nice and firm and I had the best night sleep I have had in a long time. Staff was helpful and the continental breakfast had a lot of choices.”

“The room was kind of dirty. The window was broken and cut my finger when I tried to open it. Outside the window was just massive amounts of poison ivy. Thank goodness we were staying for an event and wasn't spending time in the room relaxing. Would not stay ever again. We asked for more soap for the shower and was met with a ton of additude about asking.”

“Booked and paid through Expedia. When checked in obviously had to put down security deposit. When checking out I noticed two pending charges from the hotel and just left it alone assuming they both would fall off. One did not come off. Contacted hotel to resolve and got no resolution so has to file dispute with bank. Other than that it was fine.”

“Owner operated, wonderfully cared for. Quite setting setback a couple hundred yards from the road. Big yardspace, deer wandering about.”

“Very welcoming. Took the time to share the history of property, provided information on local areas of interest, and provided a wonderful home cooked breakfast with homemade pastries and jelly! Doesn't get any better than that!”

“The cottage was adorable and the location was absolutely ideal. It was just a five minute walk to the lake and gorgeous views of the sunrise. Bryan’s communication was excellent; he checked in with us throughout the weekend and always answered my questions promptly. Highly recommend!”
