“Value for the price was my biggest issue. $540/night for what was a basic double queen hotel room. Pools were ok, private beach was not. I would have thought the lake bottom would have been cleared of rocks and debris so swimmers could actually go in? It was not really swimmable. Our neighbours were loud wedding guests where the “f” word was used as a noun, verb, adverb and pronoun, very classy at 11pm. $35 entree at the one restaurant overdid the chicken quite badly. Parking is horrible!...

“Room and bathroom had paint chipping from walls. Staff were good. Amenities including pool were good but no pool towels were available toward end of day. Breakfast was good for families. I think overall it’s a good hotel for families. Room was quiet.”

“I recently stayed one night at Hotel Eldorado at Eldorado Resort Kelowna, and unfortunately the experience fell far below expectations. The patio and lakeside dining area were the only standout features — beautifully designed with an excellent view. Unfortunately, the hotel showed significant signs of neglect. “We stayed at the Castle at Swan Lake for 5 days after being evacuated due to the wildfire. Overall, the room was clean, though a few spots could have used some dusting, the sofa looked a bit dirty, and the carpet could have used a wash. It was spacious, with a king-size bedroom and an attached bathroom right as you walk in, followed by an open living room and kitchen (no door separating them).
