“The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. ”

“Leider konnte uns die Mawamba Lodge nicht überzeugen. Von den 2 gebuchten Bungalows war bei Ankunft nur einer verfügbar. Der andere war im Bau und entkernt. Durch die Bauarbeiten gab es auch extreme Lärmbelastigung den ganzen Tag (Betonmischer, Sägen, Hämmern usw.) Dies hätte uns vor Ankunft mitgeteilt werden müssen, besonders da wir ca. 7 Monate vorher gebucht hatten. Die Damen von der Rezeption waren mittelmäßig bemüht. Der angebotene Bungalow schien erst kurz vor unserer Ankunft fertig...

“Staff were excellent especially Kaylor and the team, very warm and helpful with organising our tours. Food options also very good and place is quiet and in the middle of nature. Accomodation is ok, little bit rustic but then it is an eco lodge and you paying for seclusion and to be close to wildlife. Would recommend overall”

“Hele mooie fijne locatie heel vriendelijk personeel maar let op geen airco op de kamer werd gelijk voor ons een ventilator neergezet wat heel fijn was wat dat heb je daar wel nodig. Het was erg schoon. Het ontbijt was erg goed. We hebben genoten van onze twee nachten hier”

“Der erste Eindruck war ernüchternd, da von dem üppigen Bewuchs rund ums Haus, der auf den Fotos zu sehen war, nichts mehr übrig ist. Juanita, die leider kein Englisch spricht, hat uns mit einem sehr leckeren Fruchtshake begrüßt und auf Nachfrage konnten wir ihre Waschmaschine nutzen. Weiterhin hat sie einen Guide organisiert der uns verschiedene Touren anbot. Soviel zum Positiven. Das Zimmer war zwar sauber, das Inventar lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Es gibt keine Nachttischlampen, die...

“Excellent staff and amazing tours. Hotel is located in a convenient spot close to town center but in a very quiet area near the beach. Tour guides Warren and Luis are incredible. Any tour with them is recommended. Natalia and Will at the fest are helpful and really great.”

“Cet hôtel est au milieu de 2 autres hôtels, l’evergreen et le Monkey, reliés par un chemin goudronné. Nous étions les seuls clients dans celui ci donc pas de buffet. L’hôtel est insalubre, aucune propreté, nous sommes restés 3 nuits et aucun ménage dans la chambre, nous avons dû nous sécher pendant 3 jours avec les mêmes serviettes à raison de deux douches par jour. La chambre est moite, très humide, ce qui rend le sol glissant.Aucun confort mais vraiment aucun. Ne vous fiez surtout pas aux...

“L’hôtel est vraiment bien situé, juste devant l’immense plage (baignade interdite!). Pour la baignade, la piscine de l’hôtel a plu à toute la famille! L’appartement est grand et les lits sont confortables! Le personnel est fort sympathique, particulièrement Josué et la dame du restaurant où nous prenions le déjeuner. Nous recommandons!”
