"Really nice, clean and well located hotel in The Gap. Great for restaurants and nightlife. Couple of things to note. You do get noise from the restaurant and bars in the evening and late. There are no lifts! Being on the third floor means you have quite a few stars to climb with a case. The bar plays music all day which you hear in the room. Not offensive, but noticeable. Staff were lovely. Room was great. View was amazing."

"We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Bay Barbados, and one of the biggest reasons was the people. The staff truly made the experience special. Kai, Akiel, Kay, Destiny, and Devon were absolutely amazing. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and personable. It seemed like everywhere you turned, someone was greeting you with a smile and a hello. That kind of genuine hospitality is something you can’t teach, and it speaks volumes about the people who make this resort what it is. The resort itself was clean and welcoming, the food was good, the beach was beautiful, and the pool was a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, Sugar Bay has a lot going for it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. That said, there are a few areas where management could make some relatively simple improvements that would go a long way toward elevating the overall guest experience: * Front gazebo: The stockpile of old mattresses near the front gazebo needs to be removed. It’s not the first impression you want guests to have. * Beach cleanliness: The beach should be checked and cleaned daily, including removing discarded cups and other debris. * Dirty dishes: We noticed dirty dishes with leftover food being left out for days. This is something that should be addressed promptly. * Beach bar signage: The missing or damaged letters on the Sugar Bay branding in front of the beach bar need to be replaced. Easy fix for 5 stars"

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our every need with warmth and professionalism. Their dedication to providing excellent service truly set the tone for our stay. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the golf course on the property. It was beautifully maintained, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The stunning views and well-designed fairways made each round feel special, and I appreciated having such easy access to a top-notch facility right where we were staying. In addition to the fantastic golf, the amenities at Plum Tree Club were exceptional. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, allowing us to relax after long days on the course. Plus, the dining options offered a delightful blend of local flavors and international cuisine, making mealtime another highlight of our visit. Overall, Plum Tree Club exceeded my expectations with its excellent staff, beautiful golf course, and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a golf enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend this gem in Barbados. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"
