Great staff, beautiful hotel, perfect location!

Historic building but rooms, especially bathrooms, need to be updated

We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi tub and private hot tub. It was wonderful to wake up and have coffee next to the creek. Staff were super nice and accommodating.

Everything about the wine country inn is top notch. This is our "go to" lodging when visiting the Palisade area. I-70 is nearby and sometimes noisy (if you're on the north side). Some of the windows on the south side are inoperable, so that can be a problem if one craves fresh air. The only additional thing I would love to see would be an all year pool, but that's a tall order, I admit. Maybe some type of seasonal enclosure that could be rolled back as seasonally needed. Just a suggestion! ;-)

Great place

My wife and I spent a 4 day getaway at Chautauqua. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We flew into Denver and took the RTD bus into Boulder. It was then a one mile walk to Chautauqua. We arrived well before check-in, so the front desk let us leave our bags with them and we continued our day. The hiking trails start right outside the cottages. The large park was great for relaxing and reading in the shade. We loved walking to Pearl St and enjoying the foodie Boulder...

The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. The shower was small, but not the end of the world. They had croissants for breakfast.

First impressions were impeccable here if that matters to someone. But, the following service was equally outstanding for the duration of our stay. All the staff was helpful, respectful, and simply nice. This is a great choice in a great location.

I loved the room and the great view. And it was within a 2 minute walk of the convention center. I will be back again next year for the same event and will stay here again! Also, great service all around!

Great location

Second stay here, lovely historic mansion size Hotel with great service, food and drink options and in the heart of the town, so you can walk everywhere! Massive front porch to sit outside and enjoy the weather anytime of day or night.valet parking and thanks to.Shawn who.was helpful amd curteois both days. Always someone around to help. Rooms are very unique decor, super cool, you wont be disappointed!

Don’t normally like historic hotels due to sound issues but got 2 great nites sleep !!

Wasn't sure about this one as it seemed different than a normal hotel - and it was! Different in the best ways possible. I arrived late and pulled through a guard gate to an amazing country club-type setting. I was greeting in the lobby with kind and willing staff who ensured my every need was met. Woke up the next morning with beautiful views of the mountains (about 10 minutes away) and the most elegant grounds I've ever seen. Classy but not snobby. Elegant, but yet livable. The rooms are unusual in that the beds are raised and the closets are under the beds. There is also a projector which is nice for TV watching. And the staff was super nice and helpful along with a free breakfast sandwich which was freshly made and very good.

Excellent hotel/resort and very friendly/professional staff. We stayed at the Mountain Thunder lodge off-peak season at Breckenridge (Nov 30 - Dec2), so admittedly the resort was quieter than usual, but we were automatically upgraded to a larger (2-bed) room upon check-in and felt extremely welcome.
